“The best of the best, really”

It was amazing. It exceeded our expectations. The house contains 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge kitchen and a super huge living room. Due to a not so lucky weather, we came rather wet. But there is a drying machine in the size of a huge fridge, which dried all our clothes and shoes. This was life-saving. And the sauna! What a treat! Huge and comfortable. And of course, the location is close to the port in Padasjoki and close to the lookout tower. If you want to get some blueberries, you just step outside the house, and you get some from the surrounding forrest. The host was very kind to provide easy access (check-in) and departure. He provided all the needed info, and it could not have been better prepared. Thank you a thousand times!!!

Very spacious and cozy house. Perfectly located just meters from the lake and from the viewing tower. The host was one of the most welcoming persons. The surrounding is very peaceful and charming. Enjoy the day in the nature and then relax in the sauna during the evening.

I love this place. We travel quite lot and usually we try to choose different location but this is so far the only place I came back and I plan to back there in future:) Very friendly host and great place for winter holidays- however I am not sure how is during summer because I was there only for winter holiday. Good place to practice country cross skiing. There is wonderful area to walk with kids, beautiful view from observation tower which is 5 minute from cottage. Very quite place. House is very clean, cozy and huge. Sauna heat is really good- at least for me. All needed kitchen equipment is available. Small portable grill is available outside. There are 3 toilets with shower in house- each bedroom has own which is really great when You are with bigger group. Really recommend:)

“House that felt like home!”

The house was lovely. Fully equipped, very comfortable and clean. Large patio with huge table, lot's of chairs and barbecue. Great sauna. Location was simply beautiful. It was at the dead end street so no traffic. Very peaceful. Just what we were looking for. We were there mid of March so lots of snow. Around the house many hiking/skiing tracks. And on top of the hill a viewing tower. Definitely worth the climb. Can't wait to go back there! Only positive feelings regarding the house and it's location.
