“Adequate for our stay”

This is a family homestay. Hosts were very welcoming. Very helpful in booking a ferry transfers and snorkelling tour.

I had to ask to change room because the toilet was super dirty, the shower was really smelly and there was no way I could shower there.. to get a new room that was pretty full of mold. But it is what it is. The owners were really pushing regarding selling me a ticket for the fast boat + drop me to the harbour, which costed me a joke of 350k, + 30k extra for "harbour tax" but I was just super tired to think and I accepted. Later I discovered that I just got overcharged. So yea, be aware.

“The Harmony team is very kind”

The team of Harmony Guesthouse were so kind!! They brought us by scooter from the first to the second location. That was already an adventure. They were also very helpfull to answer all our question. Our boat to Gili Air did not go so we need a place to stay. It was nice that we could sleep here.

Lady will try to sell you everything what you even think about, so do not say it out loud, but her husband is a really nice, and the place is good but not everything works in bathroom

The staff was really nice and we had delicious honey pancakes in the morning! It’s a nice and quiet spot in padangbai and you’re only a 10min walk away from the very beautiful white sand beach!!

Ani and her family were all very friendly and helpful, amazing value for money and the banana pancakes were awesome, I would highly recommend if you are staying in Padangbai, it is a short walk to the main town area.

The owners are a lovely family and are very helpful. They helped me to book my trip to the Gilis and I paid half of what others paid for the ferryboat. The only way to get it a bit cheaper might have been online with a lot of extra work. The room is spacious and comes with a huge livingroom area - usually shared with one other room, but I was alone. I also was able to leave my scooter with them - very safe - and they even organized a scooter ride for me to get to the ferry and get picked up a week later on my way back.

Never met such friendly people in my life. Very kind and caring. They also have a little restaurant with tasty food. They organized our ferries to the Gilis and back and even brought us to the port. Breakfast was also really good. I would definitely stay here again :)

“False location provided by hosts, we were scammed and they were hostile”

We picked this homestay because of it's close proximity to Geko Dive on Google Maps, where we were doing our diving training. It was critical for us to be close to the school as we started early every morning. We arrived at the address given on Google Maps and we were told to wait for the person's sister so we could be taken to our room by scooter. We immediately felt like something was wrong. After being taken by scooter by 6-7 mins up a very steep and long hill we immediately told them we would be leaving as they had lied about the location of the property. They blamed Google for the wrong location and argued with us in a very hostile way. It was a very unpleasant start to our time in Padang Bai and I wouldn't recommend this place at all. We got no money back from Booking or Harmony House despite not staying there. Harmony House my butt.
