“Great Value. Best Service.”

This is a family run homestay. The room is big with separate living area and balcony. The room is a bit tired but clean and comfortable. The owners are lovely people and couldn’t be more accommodating. Their main value proposition is the concierge service for the ferries (you buy the tickets from the homestay at the standard online price). We were picked up from the airport (separate fee, standard price) had a good nights sleep, a good breakfast and then personally escorted to our ferry. It was completely seamless and trouble free. We will certainly stay with Bayview House next time and use their services. If you are uncertain navigating Padang Bai harbor, Bayview House is the way to go.

Great value and a really easy walk from the port, just a few minutes. The host was so lovely and her son is a driver so they organised my transport to the airport. The room had everything you need, was comfortable and clean and had gorgeous views of Padangbai and the ocean. Will definately return next time im there. Highly recommend

The people running it were lovely. Very helpful. I didn't arrive until around 3am because of a late flight and they stayed up and waited for me. If you are catching the fast boat it is a 4-5 minute walk to the harbour.

Bay View House was a fantastic place to stay in Padang Bai. The location is unbeatable, close to the waterfront, with beautiful views over the harbour and easy walking access to the beach, restaurants, dive shops and the ferry port. The room was simple but very clean, spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and a lovely balcony to enjoy the sea view. Everything felt well cared for, and it had a relaxed, homely atmosphere rather than a hotel feel, which we really appreciated. What truly made the stay special was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with transport, activities or local advice. It genuinely felt like staying with family. Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared, and enjoying it with the view made it even better. Overall, Bay View House offers excellent value for money — you get a prime location, great views and outstanding personal service.

The family who owns the property are so kind and welcoming. They gave us restaurant recommendations and showed us how to get there. They also took us to an atm and to the port for our ferry. They were so kind and made us want to stay longer. The bed is so comfortable in the room and breakfast was fantastic - fresh and delicious.

“beautiful, authentic Balinese stay with warm hospitality, full of charm, with a few rustic touches”

We recently stayed at Bay View House in Padangbai and overall had a really lovely experience. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, with a traditional Balinese style that gives it so much character and charm. It felt very authentic, and the hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the bathrooms are quite old and reflect the traditional style of the property. The tiles, taps and shower fittings are noticeably aged, which may not suit guests who prefer a more modern or updated feel but it does align with the overall aesthetic of the home. The staircase to the upper level is also quite narrow and steeper than what some might be used to, which can feel a little daunting, especially when carrying luggage. That said, the hosts managed everything seamlessly for us and were incredibly helpful. Overall, it was a unique and charming stay, perfect for those who appreciate traditional Balinese architecture and warm hospitality and we will definately come back.

The family are beautiful, some of the nicest people I’ve ever met

Very welcoming host and so very helpful in all ways. Highly recommend for agile people as the flights of stairs to climb to the room are very steep...just fyi. Otherwise an incredible view from the patio across Padang Bai is really beautiful.
