“An escape high in the hills above Padang”
This homestay has a fun holiday vibe, in the hills above Padang Old Town. But what makes it an amazing place to stay is the staff -- so positive and helpful and informative. The menu is an interesting mix of European and Indonesian: I loved the muesli and fruit for breakfast, and I honestly had the best vegetarian curry of my life.

We had an amazing time: Lovely and helpful staff, clean room, great view from the common area which are great to relax. It really ticks most of the boxes and even comes with a free gym aka the hill that you need to walk up to get there :D Laundry service and food available at extra cost too.

Absolutely loved this hostel. It wasn't busy at all as I was travelling in the low season, but it's very comfortable, with nice shower and Aircon, free coffee, well behaved and friendly local staff, and a very funny, generous and accomodating owner, Philip. I think the project and developmwnt of the place is excellent and I really enjoyed my time there.

“THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PADANG”
Stayed here before and after a mentawai trip. THIS IS HE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PADANG. Great location but the staff are what make this place. So friendly and hospital. We aye together in the evenings like a family and in the day the staff go out of their way to take you on trips to their local village or tourist spots. Highly recommend 🫶🙏

Everything. It's cozy, colourful, joyfu. They are all very helpful and kind, they can suggest or arrange tours and transportation. Thank you for having me, sharing dinners and advices. They have very cute rescued cats. Oh and tea and coffee if you want them anytime of the day. Perfect.
