“Little Gem of a Hotel”

Beautifully clean accommodation with lovely little touches in the room. Easy to check in and check out. Excellent facilities and super comfortable bed which was welcome after a long flight. The use of the hot tub early this morning was a great bonus as were the lovely robes. Would highly recommend 👌

Exceptional atmosphere of historic hotel, large common room with fireplace, furniture that usually is only seen in museums, any commodity I could think of and impressive level of tidiness (given the amount of details on historic furniture). Also great location

Beautifully restored historic hotel. Owner took care of every little thing, excellent service. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room was a bit small but its okay. Location is close to Mt. Rainier entrance.

Beautiful period hotel in a lovely location. Packwood is a wonderful old "wild west" style town. A great base for Mount Ranier.

Super cozy and stylish, with a vibe that made us feel right at home. We had a fantastic stay - couldn't have asked for more.

The place is very comfortable and comes with many extras in the common areas. It is an old-fashioned hotel, but with all the modern conveniences. It made for a very relaxing stay, and we will definitively go back.

It was quiet, rustic, and clean.

The beds were extremely comfortable. Also the whole atmosphere at the hotel in just more than great. If you are sleeping near Mount Rainier or White Pass, then definately stay here.

“Pretty and original hotel”

Beautiful hotel building and rooms, the dining / community area is practical and needed because the rooms are pretty small, good location to reach the National Park through the forest road (if it is open). We saw Wapiti walking on the road in the morning behind the hotel.

“Charming historic hotel in a wonderful hiking area.”

Hotel Packwood was a wonderful historic place to stay, near to Mount Rainier and Mount Adams, a perfect stop for our Pacific Northwest roadtrip. It's clear that the hotel has been restored beautifully and being taken care of. We loved sitting out in the porch in the evening, having tea and watching the odd elk walk past. The staff were very helpful in their tips about hiking in the area. The check in and out process was super easy and the room was very beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay again.

Packwood Hotel is a very beautiful building with a history. My room was very clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The rooms are equipped with a very good eye for detail. Staff was also very helpful and kind.

The Packwood Hotel is an old, original hotel from 1912 that was brilliantly remodeled and is in fantastic shape. It clearly shows that the team knows what they are doing and how to keep it nice, lovely and enjoyable. We were initially a bit septical about the shared bathroom, but you actually will share it only with one other room, and during the 4 days/nights of our stay it was always absolutely clean! so no worries there! We also enjoyed just sitting on the porch and reading books. can highly recommend!
