“Pleasant stay, with great hosts”
Located a wee bit off trail from the Primitivo and honestly thought a whole house was a bit of luxury for me but I enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was raining quite heavily the day I got in, and I’m not sure if that affected the water heater - the hot water wouldn’t really heat up to a good temperature no matter how long I waited. When I asked about this over WhatsApp, the owner came down in the pouring rain to try and adjust stuff so the water could be warmer which I was really touched by. The water felt warmer at night (but also maybe the rain stopped) which was really nice. Breakfast was lovely, I enjoyed the apples, the small bits of toast, the muffins and coffee with milk. The kitchen is fully equipped so managed to make a nice dinner for myself (buy supplies in Lugo by the way - there’s limited options to get food along the way, although I think there’s a cafe 200m away. But it was raining I didn’t really want to go out). Overall, a pleasant stay - wish it had been sunny so I could enjoy the garden more!

Large house all to ourselves with a beautiful garden. We were able to relax in the garden swing in the sunshine. A variety of games were available so we siren the evening playing uno.

“Beautiful house for Camino hikers”
Casa Isaura is a quiet place on Camino primitivo. We bumped into the host while they are cleaning the place and they welcomed us warmly. They made the house so clean and ready for us. There’s bread, water and some fruit in the fridge. We had a relaxing time in the house and in the backyard under the apple tree. I loved staying here!
