“Wedding weekend in Paarl”

We liked the view, the house was beautiful. The air was fresh and clean. The grounds are big. It was the perfect set up and atmospere for a wedding weekend. Listning to the sound of the water and wind at night while sleeping was so therapeutic. So peaceful.

Very cozy and homey. The owner was very friendly and didn't hesitate to assist me when I needed it. Very clean and neat. Even tho we went during winter, it made our stay even better. I will definitely recommend this place and also go again. It was worth the price. Away from everyone and just being surrounded by nature, my family and I really really enjoyed staying here. Thank you to the owners.

Location location location.

A spacious house with a super view of the mountain. The house has a well equipped kitchen and braai area. Even though you feel as if you are in the mountains, the house is near Paarl, which has plenty of places to visit.

It felt very homey for a mini family reunion!

“BEST GETAWAY IN THE DUTOITSKLOOF VALLEY (VARSWATERKLOOF HOUTHUIS)”

Our hostess was amazing. She ensured that she made contact well in advance of our arrival, provided very clear written instructions, directions as well as provided a pin location. She checked in regularly to ensure that all was well and that we were comfortable. The beautiful cottage located in the valley of the du Toits Kloof mountains was massive, clean, and fully kitted out. We met the hostess's husband (farmer as is a working farm) who was very kind and friendly and explained their operations. Massive clean, outdoor braai area under the trees wirh a view of the mountain range "to die for" 😇 The braai area is an incredible way to have a family, group braai (barbaque), socialise and just chill while watching the sun set over these amazing mountain tops. THANK YOU JULIANA - to you and your HUSBAND for making your beautiful 4 x bedroom log cabin set in such amazing surroundings available to travellers - we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. We would highly recommend this as a retreat / getaway to relax and recharge one's batteries 🙏🙏 SUMMARY We all loved everything about the setting, the accommodation, even being close to the working farm trout dams. We enjoyed the very friendly dog, rooster, hens and baby chicjens 🐔 that casually scratched and walked around - great farm feeling 🙏🙏 Bilbo

We absolutely LOVED, the property and especially it's scenic views. This is definitely one of those places I would love to return to again and the host was lovely and very hospitable.

We did not have breakfast there , but there was coffee when we got there. The drive there is beautiful as it is between the mountains , it does however have a steep decline on a gravel road to get to the house.

The location was perfect - nestled in the mountain to feel far away from the city but close enough to Paarl to get the necessities should one need it. The greenery, the view, the breathtaking backdrop of majestic mountains, the bubbling stream next to the house - it was idyllic.
