We (my husband and I) stayed in the cottage for 2 nights and one thing is clear: you can't go wrong with this booking. The house is very clean and well maintained and the view from the sunny terrace is wonderful. You can tell that the house was built and maintained with a lot of love. The renovated cottage offers all the amenities you need (including a very well-functioning induction stove). You simply feel comfortable and "at home" there. The host, Rickard, gave us a very friendly welcome. I think it is possible to spend a very peaceful and calm vacation in this cottage. However, if you want to have some good conversations and find out about the people who live here and the region, Rickard is definitely the right person to talk to. Although my husband and I are not normally the most social people and often both feel uncomfortable in long meetings, Rickard was a perfect fit from the very first moment! The conversations with him were very open. They were not the monotonous monologues that you often hear in such situations. There was also a great interest in getting to know other people and cultures and understanding what happens in regions outside Sweden. A big plus point for Europeans: from the very first moment, there was no small talk, just an open "I wear my heart on my sleeve" attitude, which was very pleasant and refreshing. Rickard also took us on a tour on the first evening and introduced us to "his" moose and showed us a few secret and historically relevant places in nature. Once again, we discovered something we hadn't quite expected: A very open self-image for "sharing" life's experiences. We will definitely be back!

Great view above the landscape We got the possibility for a private moose tour with the owner. Very special and very nice. The house have everything and was very comfortable with everything you needs

The location is unique, quiet, silent, immense, rather isolated. The cabin has been renewed with taste - it feels spacious. The view is beyond words and gets impressive sunsets. Warm and cozy. It has everything you need. Rickard, the host, drove us at dawn to see some moose in the wild. I totally recommend it! Perfect location to take some time away from the world.
