“Great stay near Overasselt.”

The room was very clean, comfy bed, good shower, with a great selection of coffee and teas. Nice seating areas outside and a lovely selection of drinks and snacks were available to purchase in the dining room area. We enjoyed a couple of hours outside relaxing on the sun loungers with a beer, after a hot tub! This was great after a day riding up through Germany. Plus we could park our motorbike in the bike storage building. The breakfast was great with everything freshly cooked and very tasty. It's a pleasant 20-25 min walk into Overasselt where there is a lovely restaurant "De Zon".

“Awesome all over!”

We got welcomed super lovely and showed around. The Brekky was delicious and nicely arranged. They asked us the night before what we’d like to eat the next day. We chose from a selection on an menu. The hot pool was so amazing! Unfortunately I forgot his name,.. but he(the owner) was super enthusiastic about his B&B and tried to make it comfortable for us. He brought us over extra towels and slippers for us to use for the pool. The room was completely made up with love and an eye for details. We even had a coffeemaker and a selection of 6 fresh teas in the room. The „Livingroom“ where Brekky is served can be used during day and night and some drinks are available to super fair prices in the fridge. Extra for tea loving people like me: even more tea to choose from! The B&B is taken care for with love and an eye for details. I was super stunned how clean it was! Normally I don’t go around and search for dust but I was curious how far they go with cleaning. So we figured they even clean the pictureframe in a high of 2 meters and light bulbs! Nice soft bathrobes where a awesome bonus. Who likes to pet a cute dog and if you’re lucky a cat is having a blast too. I’m not a dog person but this one was nice. He stayed calm and enjoyed a pet but did not jump or came to us if we did not like it. All over an outstanding B&B.

“The Best B&B EVER. We're not joking!”

Wow. Probably the best ever B&B that we have ever stayed in. No, I take that back, the Best B&B we have ever stayed in. It far exceeded our expectations. We stayed a week at B&B Het Gelders Buitenleven. We were very well looked after by Anita and Theo. Their attention to detail was incredible. Breakfast had everything that you could have asked for. There was a daily breakfast request, which Anita prepared for the following morning. If you had wanted the best Steak and Caviar, I am sure that they would have provided it. Many choices of rolls, bread, jams, toppings yoghurt coffee, teas, juices and cooked breakfast. If there was anything that we wanted, we only had to ask. There was an honesty bar in the form of a fridge with assorted beers, wines and soft drinks. In our room there was a nespresso type coffee machine and kettle. There was an assortment of teas. It was incredible. TV, wifi, twin shower, plenty of towels and a welcome gift of chocolates. It was a great place for families, outside pool and jacuzzi. We would definitely go there again; we had such a wonderful time. Thanks for a great stay, Anita and Theo, you both run a wonderful B&B worthy of five stars.

“A lovely stay at a great B&B!!”

The room was so great! Lots of space and different areas, an area with table and chairs, comfort chairs, sauna, coffee and tea station and SUCH a comfortable bed! The bathroom was CLEAN, and there was all you could ever need. On top of the really great room, there was the cosiest living room. Breakfast was served here, and you could buy small snacks and beverages 24/7. And there was a decent selection of boardgames to play! We really liked the breakfast! There was a good selection and it was well prepared! It came in portions, always freshly made and with warm bread! There was a great selection of jam, spreads and other classical Dutch 'spread', and a really good coffee and freshly made juice! The location is on the country side, so you have the sounds of birds and cows, the smell of fresh air, and NO traffic noise! The host was the nicest lady, welcoming and kind, making everything ready for your liking. Always smiling and ready for a chat!

Clean rooms, perfect hospitality and fair price.

Cosy, comfortable, beautifully made in a beautiful location. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute. Perfect for family trips with children of all ages. The breakfast and dinner were delicious!

“Amazing breakfast, welcoming host, slept well in a quiet location”

This is a rural B&B with hosts who made you feel very welcome. The room is opposite the main house and is in a block of 3/4, each one separated by privacy fencing with table and chairs for relaxing outside. The room is a nice size with a coffee machine and kettle, tea and coffee are provided. The bathroom looks fairly new and modern and the shower was nice and large walk in one. In a separate building is a dining area for breakfast, but also a fridge stocked with different alcoholic and soft drinks, snacks, chocolate which you can buy, which was very useful to us, also games, cards to use. The breakfast was outstanding, the best we had in our 6 week motorbike tour. So fresh and varied. Coffee is great too. We enjoyed our overnight stay. It appeared popular with cyclists. For us it was within driving distance of the Ijmuiden ferry to Newcastle. You need transport to get to restaurants or be prepared for a 25 min walk. Lovely collie dog to interact with, who loves a Pat.
