“Amazing food and lovely dining area”

Amazing lodge, best food we had during our trip in Namibia, really kind staff and a waterhole close to the dinner area where we watched animals in the evening.

Kifaru is a warm, family-run gem. Staff were attentive, game drives were fun —we saw many rhinos. The food was outstanding, especially for such a remote location. Peaceful, well-kept, and deeply memorable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic, enriching Namibian safari experience. We left feeling grateful and inspired.

“The best getaway in Namibia – a paradise”

The place is spectacular – in the middle of the bush, surrounded by peace and tranquility. The perfect spot to escape for a few days and unwind after a busy stretch. We did several activities with the rhinos, and the experience was a 10 out of 10. The staff is lovely, and every detail is taken care of. The food is incredible – some of the best we’ve had on the trip. The work they do with the rhinos is admirable. We learned so much, and it’s clear the caretakers are fully dedicated to the animals. The rooms are simply a dream! It was our honeymoon, and this was the perfect destination to end the journey. Highly recommended for at least a two-night stay. We had high expectations, and it still exceeded them. Without a doubt, we hope to come back soon. Thank you to the whole Kifaru team – it was an unforgettable experience.

“Disappointing”

Wanted to love this place and don’t like leaving a negative review as we think the support they do for the rhinos is really important and should be helped in any way but feel the hotel side is being let down and maybe more thought is going into the rhinos then the accommodation. A few negatives to name we’re not being able to do all the activities they listed to me in the coming days to when we arrived, we still went out on a short tour but I wish I had been told this before that we couldn’t do all that was offered. We were also informed that there was no drinking water on site in the bar, restaurant or rooms which in 38 degree heat was a shock to us especially when the nearest town was nearly 1 hour away. The place is really nice and could be a real gem but simple things need improving.

“Boutique style luxury, the best place we stayed in our trip to Namibia!”

Very special place. Like a boutique hotel - lodge style. Only having 6 rooms make this place very authentic. The manager and the staff are naturally friendly and genuine, they really look out for your comfort and happiness. Definitely worth to stay more than 1 night, take the time to enjoy the calm of the bush, the drive and the walk to meet the rhinos. Do let the manager tell you the story of this unique place. Food is very tasty!They only cook for the few guest they have and they do it perfectly. The soups are delicious. Pool area is very relaxing. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and have a very good bathroom. It is quite new and modern. You also have a good view. Excellent value for money. Again, the number of rooms makes the stay very special. Good to know : the camp and the lodge are 2 separate sites, and 2 separate management and team. They also each have their own restaurant. Also, the road to arrive to the lodge/ camp is bumpy and requires 45min/1h drive. But this is also the magic of this place: you feel at home. We will recommend this place to any person visiting Namibia, our trip was for 1 month and Kifaru was our most memorable stay!

Everything, absolutely perfect stay from start to finish. They made our stay so special. Without doubt this was a trip highlight in so many ways. The lodge is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the stunning views, dont bother to pull the curtains at night, just wake up to the most glorious sunrise. The rooms are gorgeous, everything you could possibly want and furnished to a very high standard. Delicious food, beautifully presented.
