The view was spectacular The pool was great on a sunny day The staff were very welcoming and attentive, they even baked me a cake on my birthday. Fantastic food, different dinner each day, all was delicious. The surroundings were very peaceful and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Douar Berbere. Our hosts Mostafa and Noel were exceptional and took great care of us. The view from the hotel is amazing. Definitely recommend having dinner here as it was one of the best meals we had on our trip.

The setting is absolutely stunning, especially with all of the wildflowers in bloom and snow on the mountain tops. Mustafa and Noelle were wonderful hosts - such a banquet for dinner! A huge thank you to Mustafa for helping us to retrieve our lost purse too - so kind and helpful. A perfect stay.

Our stay here was an unforgettable experience. Mustafa and Nawel are extremely kind and attentive hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. The location is beautiful, with incredible views across the valley and toward the mountains. It is a quiet and peaceful place, very relaxing and calm. Our room was beautiful with a large bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and private terrace. We enjoyed the food, Nawel is a brilliant cook and our breakfast and dinners were wonderful. Dinner each night included four courses, the chicken tagine was the best meal of our entire holiday. Mostafa kindly shared sightseeing tips and driving routes (he made an excellent map for us) and is a very thoughtful host. We enjoyed our time with him very much.

The best place if you plan to experience something authentic and real. The owner is a great person by the way. I am planing to return.

The view was magnificent. The staff were passionate about getting it right and easily surpassed others in terms of your welfare and interests. The property is small and all the food is served home made with pride. Its quiet but never felt like bored for one moment.

This is a special place to stay in Ourika. Mostafa and Nawal made us feel very welcome and exceeded our expectations. Nawal’s delicious cooking and presentation of every meal was tailored to make us feel very special. The views from this hotel are spectacular and it is close enough to Ourika but also far enough to observe at night in complete and beautiful silence.

The property is ideal if you’re looking to enjoy some solitude and connect with nature. Mustafa is a very kind host, and he runs the property together with his family. It’s a secluded and picturesque spot. As the property is quite remote, it’s a good idea to bring along some snacks. If you have a self-drive car, I would highly recommend staying here. If you're relying on taxis, you may need assistance from the host, who will kindly help arrange transport for you.

“A relaxing and tranquil experience”

The owner of the hotel, Mostafa, was very welcoming, friendly, fun, helpful and informative. Organised waterfall trip with great guide and personally took us to the local fantastic Ourika market. Having a great breakfast in the gardens overlooking the plains towards Marrakech was awesome. Local sourced food ingredients for Morrocan dinners was a delight. Write

Mustafa and Nawel were perfect hosts and made our stay very special. We decided to eat at the Riad on all 3 evenings of our stay and the food was delicious. The Riad is located in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains with stunning views of the snow caped mountains and we would certainly recommend it.

If you’re hesitating about where to book, book this incredible place! It is a slice of heaven on earth, nestled in the most beautiful countryside. The welcome is so warm and we had the best food of our whole trip. The bedding is exquisite and so much care and attention is put into the details. We just didn’t want to leave. Special thanks to Mostafa for his conversation and warmth. We will be back one day!

We felt like part of the family staying at Le Douar, this is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Ourika, with views of the Atlas, and Marrakesh on the horizon. Nawal, Abderrahim, Abdelmajd, and Mostafa were incredible hosts, very hospitable and kind. The dinners were incredible, and breakfast and coffee was provided with an amazing view. The room was so beautiful, and so comfortable, the balcony was the perfect place to relax. Wish I didn't have to leave!
