Incredible service and staff, beautiful and peaceful rooms and location, excellent breakfast. Proximity to the art gallery, the river, beach, and gorgeous park with countless bridges.

The staff were fantastic and the room was large and comfortable. The location was great just on the edge of the lovely park area; you could walk through it to the centre, it's close enough to walk in easily but in a quiet spot. The building is quirky too, a former hospital with glasswalkways connecting the buildings and modernist artworks in the public areas and corridors. I had a river view from my room too it was lovely.

This accommodation was great at a very fair price. It is a bit at the edge of the city (but still within walking distance if you enjoy walking a bit) but in absolutely wonderful park surroundings along the river - you can go for extremely pleasant walks with lots of sights right from the hotel, and the string of green area weaves its way right onto downtown. Otherwise, when I was there, a busy, effective place, modern, friendly, excellent breakfast. Parking is free if you are registered.

The hotel location is very convenient, city center and train station are within walking distance, there is a bus stop nearby and within 5-10 mins walk on the other side of the river (yes, the hotel stays on a dam, so I could enjoy the view of frozen water) and it is at the edge of a pleasant park. Since the public transport is frequent in the city, you can reach whatever location very fast. The breakfast is solid and diverse, with desserts changing from day to day. I particularly can recommend dairy products, they are in general, great in Finland. I was staying in early March, so it was frosty outside, but the room was nicely heated. The bed was comfortable, I am still dreaming of the nice pillow to buy such a one for home, the room was clean and tidy. The building was a hospital in earlier times, as you might have guessed from the name, so the layout is suitable also for people with disabilities, and the bathroom is equipped accordingly. Because of this, the room is also spacious. The staff is particularly friendly and willing to help. I arrived at 2 am in the night (my flight got delayed) and they were waiting for me, everything was ready, they also kindly arranged a taxi for me from the airport (in advance). Probably not best suited for a romantic trip, but for me it was a great choice for a business stay for 5 nights and I would come back.

Great location in a quiet part of a vibrant Oulu city center, in a park and by the river. Hotel is a combination of the modern and historical buildings, very stylish, comfortable and visitor friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and bright, decorated tastefully. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is amazing. This hotel is a place we would definitely return upon our next trip to Oulu 🤍
