Overview
Surval Boutique Olive Estate offers elegant accommodation near Oudtshoorn. It is located in a restored 18th-century building and features panoramic views of the Schoemanshoek Valley and Swartberg Mountain Range. All the air-conditioned suites and rooms at Surval Boutique have satellite TV. Some rooms have an open plan bathroom whilst others have a separate one. A minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi are also provided in all accommodation. A continental buffet and hot breakfast is served daily. Su Casa restaurant offers menus inspired by the regional produce of the Klein Karoo area. The estate has a communal lounge area with comfortable seating; as well as a swimming pool with mountain and valley views. Olive tasting and farm tours can be arranged on advance request. Mountain bikes are available for rental and there are walking trails on the premises as well as a children's playground. Every Saturday, the estate hosts the Oudtshoorn 5 km parkrun. Surval Boutique Olive Estate is 5 km from Oudtshoorn town’s centre, en route (R328) to the Cango Caves.

“Beautiful, I will go again”
The service, I did not receive my breakfast pack as was promised on check-in. We noted that we will have an early check out on the Friday morning. The staff are nice but a bit pretentious I thought

“A great find just outside the town centre. A very welcome place to stay on the R62”
The welcome we received from the staff was excellent a nice cold glass of orange juice….it was a very hot day. Check-in was painless and the layout of the hotel was explained to us with ease by the staff. The food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent as was the attention to detail. The brandy and chocolate tasting just a fitting ending to the evening.

Everything! Such an amazing property. Lovely dinner at sunset watching a storm over the mountains. Nice pool. Spacious comfortable rooms. Easy to get to from Oudtshoorn.

We enjoyed two nights at the Surval Estate. The room was spacious with a very comfortable large bed. The shower and bathroom were excellent. We had our breakfasts and dinner at the restaurant and they were very tasty. We enjoyed our stay and the two days exploring the area
