Great location near the lake. Rustic feel. Mosi-nets over the beds. Super comfy beds. ok kitchen. Main hotel had swimming pool and breakfast was great.

“Beautiful scenery and rustic cottage in the Klein Karoo.”
Beautiful setting in the Klein Karoo. We watched the sunrise from the large porch every morning. The bed was very comfortable. Shower nice and warm. Cosy and romantic.

“Amazing stay!!!”
Soetdoring is such a relaxing and beautiful place to be. It has all the necessary amenities that one needs. Close to Oudtshoorn yet far enough to enjoy nature. De Zeekoe also has a lovely restaurant, spa options and meerkat tours that we would've loved to make use of but unfortunately our time was limited but will surely make use of these during our next visit! The staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to return!

“A miracle gem right next to a lake”
A wonderful gem located directly next to a beautiful lake with many birds. A wooden cabin well maintained with a very comfortable bed and well equipped for a nice stay over. Located close to the ostrich safari and Meerkat Adventures.

“Nice quiet cabin on a lake”
Location is on a lake and it is quiet. Open fire was nice and shower was hot. Very comfortable bed with electric heated mattress cover. The decking area over the lake is nice too.

“Peaceful accommodation on a dam”
Great view of the dam and a stunning sunset, plenty of bird life and even a pair of Fish Eagles. Kitchen was adequately equipped and the portable braai worked very well. Paddle boats were available for the dam.
