The hosts were really helpful in providing details about local attractions which made our experience in Oudtshoorn unforgettable. The breakfast is excellent - wish I could go back for more. Watching the sunset from the deck was amazing. The rooms were very clean and the extra little touches like washing the car added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Riverside Lodge to friends and family.

Loved the room. Spacious, yet cosy. The complimentary sherry was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere out on the deck was very relaxing.

It was a wonderful discovery. The chalet is beautifully decorated — you truly feel transported to the Alps. An enormous fireplace creates a warm, cosy atmosphere that keeps the chill at bay. Our host has a remarkable eye for detail, both in the décor and in all the little amenities provided. Highly recommended.
