“Beautiful location worth to stay”

Very kind and helpfull host, very beautiful garden and view, nice little swimmingpool, this is realy worth to stay a few days.

We received such a warm welcome from Leon! And what a beautiful spacious house. Gorgeous interior and fabulous views over the orchard and rose garden. Private and secure. Also, better equipped than our own home :-) Bed was so comfortable too... We will DEFINITELY return.

It was absolutely stunning, neat, clean and oh so spacious and the view gorgeous.

We met Leon at the property and he was very friendly and welcoming. The property is very quaint and we loved the wooden carved table in the kitchen. Our only niggle would be the lack of heating in the living / dining area and gaps around the external doors, but coped for the one night. If we had been staying longer it might have been an issue as it was African Winter so very cool on an evening and first thing. We did not realise prior to booking that the layout of the property meant our children were not in the main building to us which was a slight worry. The master bedroom (& ensuite) in the main building is next to the lounge / dining / kitchen area with two entry points, one in the kitchen area and the other directly from the master bedroom. The lockable door from the master bedroom is adjacent to another lockable door that has the bunk beds and double bed (and ensuite). Leon did say that some parents find it odd and choose to sleep in with their children but it was up to us. We choose not to, just locking both doors after doing a ‘sound check’ ensuring we could yell through the bathroom / bedrooms to be heard! Something to be aware of when booking. The house was lovely though, spotless and Leon did assist in late check outs for us and was very good with communication.

We were very impressed with this property and the hosts. The house is huge and has everything you could possibly wish for. There is a lovely garden and the pool is close by.

Leon our host was delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful, including doing laundry for us when I said I was going to wash a few bits, and at no charge. He gave us good advice on restaurants and safety, and gave us our own space. Property was amazing and clean, so restful on the huge veranda in the lovely garden, we could have stayed forever. Convenient for our excursions to Cango caves and meerkats, both of which were well worth it. One of the best properties in the many we stayed in during our month here. Thank you again Leon, and for the quinces!

We loved the house itself - it is very spacious, well appointed and with unique, but very comfortable, furniture. The bathroom has en suite which is always a treat. We particularly enjoyed the large verandah which had a barbecue and amazing views of the town and surrounding hills. Off road parking was provided and we felt very safe as the property was fenced. The host was extremely welcoming and was happy to answer all my questions.

Very beautiful house, nicely furbished with a big terrace. Bed is big and comfortable. All property is protected and safe, with the parking near the house. Leon is a great host, helped us with recommendations for places to see and where to eat. The location is excellent, on the hill with great sunset view. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The house has a great outdoor space, a covered terrace with BBQ with a view over the town and a garden full of fruit trees, the perfect place to relax in the evening. The house itself was very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The host was very kind and all went smooth. We would absolutely recommend to stay at the Ravenscliff White House.
