Wow, what a beautiful designed part of the house this was. We felt like being in a boutique appartment. Very comfortable bed. Everything was perfect. Secured gates, so car was safe. We hope to visit again sometime. Thank you for having us stay at your beautiful home.

We just stayed for one night, as we just stopped in Oudtshoorn on our way back to Cape Town but we absolutely loved this little jewel. The appartment has everything you need, is super comfy with a beautiful sleeping and bathroom, safe, clean and well situated. The pictures doesn't doe justice to the reality. But I want to mention especially the outstanding hospitality of the Hanelie, the host. She was making sure that we would have everything we need and took really care of us. Thank you so much again. Whenever I'm back in Oudtshoorn I would definitely come back!

A real gem, beautiful and very, very neat.

Our accommodation was of a very high standard. Everything you need for self catering is available. The decor and layout is beautiful. The owner provided a detailed script explaining everything from acess to the accommodation, parking, wifi etc. The owner personally welcomed us and showed us the accommodation. We will definitely stay here again.

Its a beautifull room, spacious, very comfy big bed and it has everything you need (and more). Hannelie is by far the best host I have ever met! She does everything to make sure you have a great stay!

Great value for what you pay. The bad is big, everything is well equipped with quality furniture. The bathroom is big, even has a bathtub. The owner is very nice, responsive and helpful. Everything was very clean, would stay there again for sure!

“Little Gem in the Heart of Oudtshoorn”

Exceptional, friendly service from the start. A beautiful, lush green garden greets you upon arrival, with safe and secure parking for your vehicle. What a gem of a place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with high ceilings, and had an old-school charm that made it truly memorable. After a long day at the Freda Barnard Swimming Gala, this was exactly what we needed. The large, luxurious king-size bed was a perfect retreat—ideal for lounging and relaxing after a full day of competition, giving those tired legs a well-deserved rest. The bathroom was stunning, offering the perfect space to unwind after a day by the pool. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the large fridge freezer was a huge plus. It provided ample space to store our meals, unlike the typical small bar fridges that are often too limiting for extended stays. Everything here was thoughtfully designed with attention to detail to make your stay as homely as possible. We especially loved how close this place was to all the amenities—the mall, Spar, and of course, our daily destination, all within walking distance. We have stayed in many places but this one stole my heart for sure I will definitely book this gem again and highly recommend it!

“Incredible accomodation”

Hannelie is a lovely person and amazing hostess. An early checkin was accommodated without issue and we had privacy the entirety of our stay. We felt like we were at home immediately in a beautifully decorated room. There were a lot of small touches added that, after staying at a few places, is more the exception than the rule it seems and we really did want for nothing more as we were comfortable and well taken care of. If you are staying in Oudtshoorn or your travels are taking you through the area 100% you should make Luxury and Homely Stay a stop-off.

Really comfortable & clean. I was made to feel welcome & taken care of. Pool was lovely & bathroom exceptional. Lots of personal touches which makes a big difference. The whole stay was amazing & I cant wait to go back!
