This was an incredible stay in a beautiful location. The welcome on arrival was great and the staff couldn’t do enough to help you. The cottage we stayed in was beautiful. We did the meerkat experience with Ras, which was fun and felt like a proper adventure, but the highlight of the tour was the Ostrich Farm tour, which was made all the more special thanks to Hermes who was our wonderful tour guide and gave us an insightful and fun tour .

Very friendly welcome! All hotel staff (reception (!), restaurant and guides extremly friendly! Thank you all! We had a very nice dinner. The location is unique: farm style! The rooms with old(er) furniture therefore fit in perfectly.

“Ostrich Farm”

Very welcoming and easy to get hold of for any questions. Braai Wood was brought to the house. Frank was at at reception when we booked in and told us all about what was on offer at the farm and about places we could eat dinner. ( we decided to braai the first night. The next night we went to Buffelsdrift. We did a meerkat safari with Ras who was very informative. Even though we had no luck with the meerkat we learnt a lot and saw giraffe and many other animals. Stephanie was very helpful and accommodating at breakfast.

The location being on route to Cango caves and opposite great ostrich tour farm plus the Marisa wine farm. plus the breakfast was a big variety and delicious

As on previous visits, this one was no exception!! A breakfast,outside, with ostrich , beautiful Bougainville, maintained garden and wonderful food, you don’t want to leave!! There is no other place where you can enjoy the beauty of the milky way at night, spectacular!

We loved the peaceful location of Room 20 mountain manor and super views of the surrounding mountains. The bedroom and bathroom were lovely and light and exceptionally clean. The ostrich steak was delicious at the evening meal.

“A lovely place to stay”

Greeted at reception by Victor who sorted out a restaurant booking in Oudtshoorn with shuttle for the evening as well as sorting out our rooms. He kindly opened the bar for us after dinner and offered to light a fire for us to sit outside under the stars. He couldn't have done more for us. The bedroom was comfortable, clean, and the linen excellent, with a shaded verandah, looking over a pool which was shared with 2-3 other rooms. The rest of the staff and family were very friendly and helpful.
