Wonderful breakfast buffet every morning! Staff very friendly and helpful - made up single beds on short notice, night light lit on our stoep, late breakfast delivered to our room, car washed before we went home.

Just out of town but don't mind the gravel road, you'll enjoy your stay. Breakfast was nice with a friendly staff to boot.

The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent. The breakfast buffet variety was out of this world with all foods prepared fresh and presented beautifully. The hostess packed excellent high energy breakfast packs for our sportday. The location of the property is safe and quiet.

Never got to stay at Bakenskraal, pressured met to stay at another guesthouse, not all that great. Asked for reason behind it, never got an answer. Saturday morning supposed to receive a pin for new location, never got it. New location ( mooi plaas) bit run down. Safe did not work TV 3 channels after tv and top box swaps. Personnel very friendly though.

“Wonderful old-world charm and tranquility”
The bed made for a superb sleep. Breakfast was divine. The staff were amazing. All in all, we had a terrific stay at Bakenskraal. The property has old-school charm, coupled with modern-day amenities and good service.
