This is a lovely guesthouse in the centre of Oudtshoorn. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was scrumptious and the hosts are ever so nice!

Property was in a great location in the town and we received the warmest of welcomes from Christo and Clarissa. Throughout the stay, they couldn't have been more helpful with dinner recommendations and booking taxis for us. Rooms and pool area at the hotel were all fabulous. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Outstanding hospitality! The host - Magda - gave a personal introduction and tour and this happened for all guests. This level of hosting continued throughtout our stay including at the breakfast which included the TASTIEST Water Melon in many a year. Our hosts were happy for me to empty their larder on this one! Great location and secure parking (as always in SA). Lovely room with a veranda outside - part of an old house - with wonderful tropical looking greenery outside in a country that looks quite desert-like not far away. Oudtshorn itself has some interesting old buildings - there is a guide in your room - but was, surprisingly, not much of a place. Still you stay there to visit the Cango Caves, ostrich farm (we visited the original one Highgate - it was excellent - no silly gimmicks) and take the circular tour over the Swarzburg Pass. Loved Prince Albert - this is what we thought Oudtshorn would be like. The accomodation was busy - not surprising - but not in a way that was intrusive. Must give another 'shout out' for the sheer effort being put into 88 Reede by the two wonderful hosts.

Super friendly hosts, very welcoming and full of lovely suggestions on where to go, where to eat and what to do. Beautifully clean and well maintained room with everything you need. Aircon was wonderful, the pool looked nice although we didn’t use it. Lovely home cooked breakfast and great coffee. We would stay here again if in the area - highly recommend.

Room has everything you need and the fridge is full, separate shower / toilet. You even have your own sit outside. Excellent swimmingpool. Great breakfast and the owners are doing everything they can to support, help etc. They will support advice on activities ( or book dinner etc ) location is in same street as main restaurants , bars etc. Parking lot is behind the gate so perfect. For us 10 out of 10.
