“Beautiful stay, a perfect location for cycling holidays”

Beautiful home in a perfect location for our cycling holiday, we only wish we were home more to enjoy the garden! Lots of nice little touches such as the record player and fresh flowers, kitchen had basics such as salt, pepper, sugar, oil, herbs. Simple things that so many apartments are missing

The location for the Koppenberg was brilliant. Easy access to town and local bakeries

“Convenient cottage for Oudenaarde and visits further afield in the area.”

The single-floored cottage is quite large (there's a strange room in the middle which is used for storage) with well-equipped kitchen. There is a sizeable garden and patio, which would have been great if we'd had nicer weather. (It was chilly when we arrived but quick phone call to Simon meant we could adjust the central heating easily). Parking was easy, right next to the front door. It feels very private and was quiet despite being quite near to a main road. We could easily walk to the canal for a bit of fresh air. Also very much enjoyed visits to Ghent and Brussels from here.

A slight panic on my behalf about contacting Simon to get access to the property. A terrace house which has been part restored in the middle of the village in the shadow of the church. Amazing an authentic tiled floors with a beautifully renovated lounge, dining, bathroom, bedroom & kitchen. Everything you could possibly need was supplied. Outside an amazing garden with shed, garden furniture & an open sided chilling barn. We felt like true Flandrians during our stay here whilst riding as many of the cobbled classic climbs we could. Bike shop across the road along with De Pedaleur an excellent value restaurant & bar.

“Great well equipped house and an excellent host.”

Host, Simon, was excellent. He was proactive, helpful and responsive. We stayed a little longer than the usual checkout time, this was offered without prompting. The house was very well equipped, with lots of room. Some nice touches included the prosecco and milk in the fridge. The garden was great to sit in and relax.
