Very comfortable room in a central location. I arrived after a long bike ride. The next day the owner filled and cleaned my bidon before I’d asked! Excellent stuff, never had a soigneur before..

“Prime position and a very warm welcome - highly recommended”
Its located right on the square in a prime position. The owner was absolutely super - he kept in close contact with me on the lead up to the trip and made check in and the all important storage of bikes seamless and easy. Breakfast was delicious - just what we needed. A really relaxed and enjoyable trip, we will return.

“Superb staff that we're extremely helpful.”
Right on the main square., yet it's quiet at night. We were there to cycle, and we could store our bikes securely. They even loaned us a pedal spanner when it was needed. The could not have been more accommodating, and the breakfast was good, even with a cyclist's appetite.

“Need to feel at home in Oudenaarde ? Book a room in de Zalm.”
De Zalm is a family run hotel right in the very center of Oudenaarde. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The really make you feel like a welcome guest. A nice breakfast room with a decent breakfast. My room had a view on the beautiful gothic town hall (see picture, taken from the window of my room) A terras on the 3rd floor allows a cigar smoker like me to enjoy his smoke. The building is old but not worn out, the bathroom is modern.
