A lovely location/accommodation but the most outstanding thing is the hosts. Exceptionally friendly and hospitable.

Best accommodation of our 8 day trip. Quirky. Comfy bed. The most amazing breakfast! By a canal. Oude Pekela is small and quiet. No bars etc open during the week. Only 1 restaurant open which was a pizza place (had amazing pizzas though). Host (who's name I've completely forgotten, sorry) was lovely - took time to show us around the accomodation and have a chat.

The host truly was a gem, exuding enthusiasm and friendliness that made our stay even more special. Nestled in a peaceful location, Villa Le Jardin offered the best of both worlds: a serene retreat that inspired dreams of hopping on a flight to Cuba. If you're seeking a unique getaway that combines charm and comfort, look no further!

We came to stay at Villa Le Hardin. Debby is so lovely and friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Wow we had the Cuba suite , it was stunning, absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful bathroom, lounge, gorgeous bedroom, lovely paintings on the wall. A private patio garden with table and chairs, very pretty. The breakfast was beautifully presented and so much food! Excellent. Thank you Debby for a fantastic stay.
