“Great experience”

I spent one night here with my friend, the room was clean and tidy, the spot itself is serene and peaceful, a good tasty breakfast, and I would like to highlight the kindness of Mr. Thami, a generous man who offered us tea and invited us to his house to watch the national team football game, a great place to reset and refill, highly recommended.

The view, the food, the comfy beds

“Beautiful accomodation with view on a huge lake run by a lovely family!”

The location is amazing! Our accommodation, which is a private small house with a bedroom, bathroom, and open balcony, had a beautiful overview of the huge lake as seen on the pictures. We hiked to the lake and back, and were greeted by kind people as well as lovely sheep and shepherds. The accommodation is run by a very kind family that prepared a delicious breakfast and dinner for us (we opted for dinner, which was worth it!). The destination is maybe not very touristic but especially worth the detour when travelling between Fes and Chefchouaen/Tetouan. The only regret we have is that we only stayed for one night!

Beautiful stay with a stunning view over the reservoir. The host was incredibly kind, welcomed us with tea, and cooked an exceptionally delicious and generous dinner (extra charge). Despite Ramadan, we received a great breakfast. Warm, comfortable and truly authentic.

We loved the location and our hosts were very hospitable. We booked demi-pension, recommended, as it's quite remote. The tagine was very tasty and they served a good breakfast on the terrace with a view of the lake. It was time to change the oil on our motorbikes so our host helped us out with containers, a bag to catch the excess oil and with the area being elevated, the terrace, there was no bending down... Brilliant. We arrived in mid-late November and it was getting colder. The room was so warm, partly due to its construction, thick mud walls and plenty of blankets, I was pleasantly surprised.

Great place to stay with beautiful views, very nice owner, delicious breakfast. If you look for some quiet place this is place to be.

“A beautiful remote hideaway if you're independently mobile”

Beautiful remote location, on top of a hill overlooking a massive lake. Super-friendly and generous host family. Basic food, excellently prepared, and great breakfast. Very cheap, even by Moroccan standards, both room and food.

“Exceptional views”

The location and views were exceptional. Beautiful sunset over the hills and beautiful sunrise over the dam. We went on a motorcycle and parked outside our room. The old dirt road has now been concreted so no problem to get there, we also found it easily. The owner was very friendly bringing us tea on our arrival. Breakfast was brought to our terrace in the morning. The rooms are basic as you would expect in a rural area, but we had no problems. A wonderful place to stay, relax and enjoy nature.

The moment I got there I felt so relaxed and was welcomed by the owner who had prepared a wonderful fresh tajin for me. The calmness was perfect they arranged a guide who stayed with me for my whole stay and showed me all the sites and I made so many memories and wonderful friends this is a must visit location I'm surely going back with my family as I want them to experience what I did

The location of the apartment is in a crazy good spot. The rooms are pretty simple but perfect. I was there with my bicycle I met also another cyclist which was pretty nice. The owner took us to the local cafe shop and we had tea together... he even invited us to have some sweets with his family. In the evening we also had Tajine together with other guests 🥰

Incredible view, warm welcome.

My stay in la belle étoile was truly wonderful! I had a great time with my family in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. A special thanks to Mr. Touhami for his warm hospitality and kindness. The homemade dishes, especially with the freshly baked bread, were absolutely delicious and gave a special touch to the whole experience. The place is quiet, clean, and perfect for relaxation away from the city’s noise. I would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, authenticity, and genuine Moroccan hospitality.

This place is just beautiful, peaceful and calm. The view is breathtaking, not to mention the insane night sky where you can see the milky way so clear. The family who runs this place is lovely, friendly and they make sure that you have everything you need. We will definitely come back in autumn/winter.

“Unique views, peacuful place and delicious food”

Excellent welcoming. Delicious handmade food, natural and well served. We could meet the family, including the beautiful and well mannered children. Being ourselves Moroccan, we can assure the cuisine were 100% traditional and healthy. The views are Simply breathtaking.

We were visiting from the US. The hosts showed great kindness and hospitality. Simple accommodation, but exactly as advertised.
