“A home from home”
Roger, our host, was very friendly and welcoming. He provided us with plenty of local knowledge to help us better enjoy our ongoing trip. The property is in a beautiful location, with gorgeous views and lacks light pollution so it is a great place for star gazing. Our beds were very comfortable and there was a pleasant lounge to relax in. We wish we could have stayed longer.

“Superb gem tucked away in the middle of nowhere.”
Fleur and Roger, our hosts, are definitely in the right business. Nothing was a problem. The lodge is beautifully situated, the facilities superb. Luxurious - but you feel right at home. The whole experience was wonderful. A perfect getaway - and we’ll be back!

Stunning lodge in a stunning location. The hosts are an amazing couple who made us all feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cooked breakfast and pankakes were well worth the extra. This will now be our go-to when we need a quiet peaceful getaway.

“Luxury on the Rail Trail”
Absolute luxury which was so welcome for tired humans on night 2 of cycling the rail trail. The outdoor spa was perfect to help sore muscles - and the view is 🙌🏼. Bedroom and ensuite were spacious with high quality linen (fluffy bathrobes), toiletries, bed sheets etc. Continental breakfast the next morning was delicious and more than enough to keep us full till our first stop. Helpful to have a shuttle to and from the local pub for dinner 👌🏼
