Sabina went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We were travelling for a conference, and the hotel had everything we needed each day to prepare well and leave our room with a smile. The free coffee in the downstairs lounge was a bonus. Sabina was a perfect host. She was always happy to chat and share tips and stories, and posted items we had left behind back to New Zealand (she is a gem in my opinion). The location is central and in a busy part of town, as others have said. We felt quite safe in the hotel and had no issues with noise or trouble sleeping. For any travellers coming to Ottawa who want a hotel host who makes you feel at home, I would not hesitate to recommend Sabina.

“A very pleasant and comfortable stay within walking distance to the key attractions.”
Super clean, economically comfortable room and quiet location despite being a few blocks from the main nightlife area. Excellent block out blinds. Best shower ever - very hot and powerful water pressure. The owner is a lovely friendly Swiss lady.

I had a super comfortable room, bed was fantastic, very clean and the bathroom was perfect for my weekend stay. I felt safe, comfortable and happy. “Nice hotel near downtown Ottawa.”
We were on a road trip from Vancouver to Quebec. Small and interesting hotel near downtown Ottawa. The room is reasonably equipped with air conditioning and has a spacious bathroom. Check-in and reception were very easy and very friendly.

“Lovely Stay to get to know Ottawa”
Excellent service, the hotel is managed and attended by it's owner. She was incredibly helpful and nice, we arrived late and she left us every indication on how to get to our room. There's no breakfast but there's coffee on both the reception of the hotel and the room. One of the most important things is that everything was spotless clean, bed was very confortable and the building is beautiful. Location is excellent is a 10min walk from all the main places to check out in the city, very good food around.

Great location for touring downtown Ottawa. Neighborhood is a little sketchy but no different than any other medium sized downtown city location

Instantly felt welcomed by the owner who was lovely and gave me some tips for the area. The room was perfect for the night I stayed and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
