“This hotel is perfect for your downtown stay with everything you need”
This hotel is old but refurbished and it surprises you. We had a king suite with balcony- tidy space with everything you need- the bed & pillows were super comfortable, the balcony was like another room which is great if u eat in. The breakfast was continental but v adequate. The space given over to communal areas has to be commended- a quiet room, a games room/ sitting area, a sofa next to a gas fireplace, a fantastic laundry room for free with washing machines and dryers, and free luggage storage lockers. Really impressive.

The facilities (gym, laundry, game room), the interior design looked super modern and chic, really welcoming hotel. The staff was AMAZING the sweetest people. I genuinely felt like home in the hotel and for the price ? Incredible location !!!

“Clean rooms, friendly staff, an enjoyable stay!”
The location was excellent, a few minutes walk from Parliament Hill. It also has a very accessible O-train station (Parliament) meaning you can go direct from the VIA Rail station. The staff on reception were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in slightly early and letting us leave our bag in the lockers upon check-out (there is a free locker system where you can choose your own lock code). The room was incredibly spacious with a full kitchen. The entire room was clean and all additional toiletries were available. The bed was very comfortable.

Staff were so helpful and friendly, the location was superb, I liked that there was a bath, and that there were some thoughtful additions like an extension cord. Generally, the room felt very spacious. It’s moreso a bachelor suite and less so a hotel room.

Another lovely stay! The Arlo has a fantastic location and a really nice room setup. It suited our birthday trip perfectly and made getting around Ottawa easy. Overall, a great experience and one I’d happily recommend.

The location was excellent, whiting walking distance of many attractions. The room was clean and beautiful. The beds were also comfortable. The break fast was simple but good.

Very close to all the important sightseeings of the capital, clear rooms and hospitable persons on the front desk
