This Ottawa hotel is in the ByWard Market area, within a 10-minute walk of the National Gallery of Canada. The hotel offers rooms with a microwave and mini fridge. “A relaxing/ comfortable place to stay in the heart of downtown Ottawa with personable staff!”
I have stayed at the BBI several times in the last few years and it never disappoints. A room on a lower floor was requested and staff were very accomodating. Our room had two twin beds and although we faced the street and it was noisy that evening, the room with the A/C unit drown out the noise of the party go-ers. We slept deeply and SO comfortably. The BBI is the most quaint and comfortable boutique hotel in the region. The balcony with the bistro table and chairs is an added bonus. We enjoyed our morning coffee as the neighbourhood came to life on a busy Monday morning!

Location is perfect for touring the Byward Market and local sights. Great restaurants and coffee shops very close. The underground parking at the hotel was a very nice surprise. Breakfast was very nicely done with plenty of seating

The location and staff service were excellent and suited my purpose well. There was a timely fresh breakfast each morning (very good but it would be great to have a few more veggies). The bathroom and bed were fresh and comfy.

“The perfect stay”
We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived and the gentleman on reception was very helpful making sure we had everything that we needed. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable with little extra details that made it feel extra special. As we had traveled a long way, being able to get a carry out and take to the room to eat was an added benefit. The breakfast was very good with a very good choice. We were sad to leave this fantastic hotel which is in a great location for exploring the beautiful city of Ottawa, an we will definitely be back.

Breakfast was nice, location - perfect, room was cozy, clean with a big terrace! Parking is very close, five minutes walk to the gallery and fountain, many different cafes. restaurants, bars nearby. The hotel provided an extra comfortable bed for our daughter free of charge, for which we would like to thank you!

“third stay consistent with the previous two all about a year apart, different rooms, but all fine.”
Had plenty of hot, fresh, healthy food and drink: lemon water, boiling water from a tap, and constantly resupplying the adequate quantities with fresh. Quiet with enough seating. Simulated but warm natural gas “fireplace”. After checkout, the staff took care of my belongings while I banked and shopped after checkout. A bit cold at night, but duvet provided…

We loved the Inn. The attention to detail with respect to the facility, decore (wonderful artwork etc) really made the Inn cozy. The staff were all exceptional. It is just a wonderful gem within the city centre.
