Very cozy and welcoming! Very clean and in an excellent location. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. The highlight was the family who owns the place. They were incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great recommendations on what to do and where to eat. On the morning of our departure, they even prepared breakfast earlier for us and kindly gave us a ride so we could catch our bus without any stress. We truly appreciated their hospitality! ☺️

We were a bit sceptical about it before our arrival. The place looked a bit 'old style'. But then we understood why it was so well rated. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful (not to mention the delicious breakfast they provided). The room exceeded our expectations, it was spotless, with an extremely comfy bed. We had everything we needed and more. And thanks to Pierre and his mum for the recommendations!

A great place to stay for visiting the city. Situated in the centre of downtown Ottawa. Hospitality and extremely heartwarming environment. Our host Pierre and Chantal was welcoming us a lot, we felt comfortable as if we were at home.

Everything. This has to be one of my favourite places to stay. The hospitality shown by Pierre and his mum was amazing. We felt much more like friends than guests. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We were even given another bedroom free of charge and Pierre gave my son a lift to a local museum. They really are fabulous people. I loved the decor and position it is tremendous value for money.

“Comfortable and welcoming”

Pierre was a wonderful and welcoming host. I arrived at 9am, puffed from dragging 20kg of luggage up the street and half asleep due to getting on the train at an unholy hour, and was worried about forgetting to notify in advance that I wanted to drop my luggage off. Pierre was so kind and didn't mind at all, even offering to help with early check in and lifting my bags up the stairs. Breakfast was homemade but looked very professional and greatly exceeded my expectations - multiple choices of fruit, drinks and toppings on crepes. My room came with a microwave and kettle, as well as a shower/bath and hair dryer. I only stayed for one night but would've continued to stay here if I'd had more time in Ottawa. Location was brilliant with various shops and attractions within a 10 min walk away, which Pierre pointed out on a very helpful map that he provided. I left the next morning well rested and ready to tackle the 24 hours of flying ahead to get home to Melbourne. Merci beaucoup Pierre!

Pierre Quesnel is a very welcoming host. I arrived early, no problem with early check-in. He told me all sorts of interesting things about Ottawa, history as well as orientation to where I needed to go. I used the dining area and left luggage in the B&B after check-out. He drove me to the airport after my meetings were done. Highly recommended.

Pierre was very friendly and always helpful if I needed anything. He had incredible knowledge of the surrounding area and city with recommendations for absolutely anything that you might need as a guest. I would stay here again if I am ever in Ottawa.

The place locates right in the heart of the downtown of Ottawa, the room and house are very cozy and clean and Pierre is an incredible host: he took time to chat with guests, made individual breakfasts to all guests every morning, made sure everything was alright and also gave tips to what to see and how to operate wisely in Ottawa. He speaks both English and French fluently. Thank you so so much!
