Overview
Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths are available for all guests, and some rooms come with a private balcony with an open-air bath. A free shuttle is available from JR Ogoto Onsen Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and a 20-minute train ride to Kyoto Station. The air-conditioned rooms come with Japanese Yukata robes, a fridge and a seating area with low tables and cushions. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Western-style beds or in rooms with Japanese futon bedding and tatami (woven-straw) floors. Guests can watch international programmes on a flat-screen TV (BBC World, Phoenix InfoNews Channel, TVBS and YTN). The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer and slippers. Guests can sing their favorite tunes at the karaoke rooms and purchase local gifts at the souvenir shop. Massages can be requested for an extra cost and you can take walks in the on-site garden. Traditional multi-course meals featuring Omi beef are served for dinner and a Japanese set-menu for breakfast. All meals are served at the restaurant. Ryokusuitei Biwako is a 30-minute drive from Miidera Temple and a 30-minute drive from Enryaku-ji Temple. Lake Biwako is just steps away.

Onsen on the balcony was beautiful, public onsen is very nice too. Breakfast is plenty with many options to choose. You have your on charcoal grill on the table!

In room Onsen was a great bonus. Tatami and futon was comfortable. Public onsen with cold bath and outdoor bath and barrel sauna were excellent. Kaiseki dinner was great. Nice buffet spread.

“Good for place Relaxing”
Room very comfortable and spacious, only the bathroom which is quite squeezy. Dinner and breakfast is superb. The onsen is clean and staff are very friendly. I like the outdoor onsen, warm water with cool night weather, very relaxing after long walking in Osaka & Kyoto.
