“Camping in aunties garden”
The location looked nice, the tent was new and looked comfy as did the bathroom. The overall vibe was calm and familiar... I felt a bit like an intruder as the tents are loacted on the private property. The tent was nice, the bathroom was quaint and the hosts were very nice and hospitable. I even got hot water for tea. The brakfast that was offered was delicious.

Giel and Ansie were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in Bushbok Self Catering cottage, although we did not self cater, and it is a wonderful place to rest up.

Ghill and his wife are great hosts. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Highlight was the dinner which was extremely tasty!

We had a superb stay at Olienhoff. We were there for one night. Room was nice, and clean. There was a refridgerator in the room and bathroom was big with nice shower. There was also TV in the room. Wifi worked excellent all over the place. We enjoyed some beers in the beautiful garden and had a very nice dinner with eland meat. Really nice cooked. We also enjoyed a bottle of Namibian redwine and was having an interesting introduction about the wine. Breakfast was very good as well. Very nice staff. This was a very good place to be.

“Great accommodation on the way to Etosha with very friendly owners!”
Very nice location! Great, helpful, friendly and informative owners! The rooms are nicely renovated. Simple but functional furniture, very comfy bed, large bathroom, spotlessly clean - shining white bed linen and towels! Has a small pool also. The garden is very nice. The dinner was great, breakfast was ample. All in all, it is a great location if you want to explore the area or you are just on the way to Etosha!

The hospitality from Giel, Ansie & Team was amazing. The food was excellent. Otavi has no place that you can really dine out at night, and I daresay even if there was a restaurant, it would not be as good as Olienhoff. The location for us was extremely convenient, close to where we needed to work. The environment was very relaxing after a hard days work. Just a note to request servicing and cleaning of the rooms which is done on request. In terms of value for money, it's very good, everything is reasonably priced including bottled water and drinks and even laundry. We had a great stay and really want to thank the team for making it that way.

“Overpriced but with lots of potential.”
The hosts and kitchen staff were friendly. The room had a bar fridge with 2 bottels of mineral water. A well prepared tasty breakfast was served. There is a peacefull garden outside.
