A little oasis in town with lovely, helpful staff and great breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Staff were super friendly, helpful and kind. The hostal is stunning with all its plants and open roof. Fantastic location and the breakfasts were delicious!

All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room had beautiful bright paintings. The breakfast was beautiful especially the bread which was easily the best I've had in south America. Fresh with a beautiful crunchy exterior and soft and fresh on the inside. All in all a really cosy homely place to stay.

Such a great place to stay in Otavalo. Great location just a few steps away from the city center. Lovely, freshly prepared, breakfast in the morning, clean rooms, quiet at night, staff was so kind and welcoming. Free private parking is available. Definitely recommend.

This hostal is like an oasis in the buzzing town of Otavalo. I just stayed two nights to discover the surrounding of this town (12km hike around the crater lagoon of Cuicocha and the waterfall of Peguche). The hostal offers a good breakfast which ca be enjoyed in its beautiful garden. There is good wifi at the property and staff is very friendly and helpful with any requests I had. There are plenty of restaurants and bars all in short walking distance.

We had a wonderfull stay at Riviera Sucre. Especially because of the staff, they were friendly, helpfull and in for a chat. There was always someone available. The hostal is beautiful with lots of color and plants. The location is perfect, in the centre, but inside the hostal it does not feel like that. It is not far from the Playa de Ponchos where the market is, and also walkable to the busstation. Many nice comedores, (good!) coffeebars (go to tayta wasi!) and panaderias close. The rooms area very spacious and they even offered to clean it during our stay. Breakfast was good!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hostal is walking distance from the main plaza and other attractions. Very peaceful atmosphere and beautiful small garden. We planned to stay here 2 nights but extended to stay two more nights.

The staff were very helpful and had good English. It was great to be able to get laundry done easily. The room was spacious and the hotel was quiet. The garden is fabulous. The breakfast was simple but good. The filtered water in the room every day was a nice touch.

didn't want to leave the hotel - beautifully decorated, with cozy inner courtyard with a fountain, fireplace in a library and spacious garden. Loved the fact that the hotel is a family business that has been passed from generation to generation. it has a sense of home in the best ways. the location is great - in historical centre. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Lovely property in great location to walk to local attractions and restaurants or super easy and cheap to catch buses to nearby towns .large quiet rooms with block out blinds Breakfast was best in our 3 months in Ecuador Staff were brilliant and nearly all fluent in English which is unusual in Ecuador.

The staff was excellent, attentive and helpful. The location was just a few minutes walk from the Otavalo market and the central park. The property was beautiful with artwork, a garden and several places to sit both in and outdoors. There was even a sitting room with a fireplace. Quiet during the night.

The warmest welcome of a hostel ever! Paulina had already made us feel welcome in the days before we arrived - and this just grew. This is a wonderful place to stay - beautifully appointed - every detail delivered. Perfect.
