“Pretty hostel in good location in Otavalo”
Beautiful building in a good location half way between the main plaza and the market. Clean, nice bedding and nice communal spaces. The staff on the front desk were helpful and friendly giving me suggestions of things to do and how to get to places.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and spacious. The whole hotel was nicely decorated and the common areas are welcoming. They had a kitchen for self gathering.

The staff is very kind and nice. Location is very good. Bed is confortable. It has a parking lot right in front.

“Great location, decent hostel, bit on the noisy side.”
We had a good stay at El Andariego. We arranged an airport transfer with the hotel for $60 which went smoothly. Upon arrival we paid for our stay (cash only) before being shown to our room. The room is basic but done the job, clean and a nice powerful warm shower. The staff were happy, nice and always helpful! The hostel is in a great location, nice and central to everything and a good base to explore the surrounding area and the Saturday market! One day we did the Laguna Cuicocha hike, we arranged transport again with the hostel which was ideal and cost $25 return. It was a good walk (take lunch and water) and it took us 4 hours with a short break. I would definitely recommend.

“A lovely place to stay in Otavalo”
The location is very central to the markets. The rooms were comfortable and clean! The size of our room was big too. The staff were very friendly, helping us book our taxi to the Laguna Cuicocha.
