Beautiful apartment in the centre of town. Extremely clean, fantastic facilities including fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and very hot shower. The host was very helpful with local advice and organising hiking trips. Also great value for money, highly recommended would definitely come back

Aylluwasi is fabulous. In an original adobe house that is stunning, a few minutes walk to the Plaza de Ponchos. Our room was huge, beautifully decorated and we had the use of a kitchen. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful organizing transport to and from Quito airport.

Location close to bus station and market lots of restaurants and supermarket near by. Friendly helpful host very welcoming and house beautiful. Hot showers, use of kitchen and washing machine

“Fantastic”

The whole experience was excellent. The owner,Alberto is a wonderful host who goes out of his way for his guests. The Hostal is his original family home, adobe style, and our room was enormous with a separate sitting area, and a kitchen to use. . The location was close to the main square in a safe area, near the bus station . Truly a find and the best place I’ve stayed in my South American travels

Gorgeous small hostel - fantastic value for money. The place has a homely feel, fully equipped kitchen to use, in a fantastic location and super quiet inside, and Alberto was a wonderful, friendly host. I would absolutely stay again!

Giant room, nice man upon arriving (although for most of the time there is no one there, its more like an airbnb). Good location.

“Great stay in Otavalo”

The location was perfect, close to the centre and within walking distance of cafes and restaurants and of course the Saturday market. The room was huge with lots of space and a seating area by the window which was great for relaxing. The water was super hot in the shower, ideal for a freshen up after hiking around the Laguna de Cuicocha! The communal areas were well equipped and very clean plus drinking water was provided. Alberto provided information on things to do and offered help in organising any activities. A great place and a very enjoyable stay.

“Gorgeous guesthouse in fantastic location”

Stunning guesthouse in great location, a couple of blocks from the market. Despite the central location the guesthouse is extremely quiet, with no street noise. The room was huge and the beds were extremely comfortable- we had the best sleep we’ve had in a long time! The architecture is gorgeous, the photos just don’t do it justice! The guesthouse has everything you need for a comfortable short or longer term stay, including a well equipped kitchen if you would like to do some cooking. The host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

“Clean, friendly and welcoming.”

The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. There are good cooking facilities and free use of the washing machine. The beds are comfy and the hotel is in a good location.
