Of course the location. Also the classic elegance throughout the hotel. Bath and toilet are separate for extra comfort. The bed was extra firm, which is my favourite.

Very spacious corner room on the top floor with a wonderful view of canal & harbour. The bathroom is big too. Love the room & would definitely stay here again. Also love the seafood bowl you can make yourself during breakfast. Hotel is not big or modern but we love the traditional & historic feel of this hotel!

Located just in front of the lovely canal and walking distance to all the shopping district. As it was beginning of spring, everything was amazing. Lovely helpful staff makes it better. I will return to this place

Our hotel rooms (5) were big plus facing the iconic canal plus a short walk (5-10 minutes) to eateries. We had 3 cars and the hotel car park facilities were very organised ie marshalled by wardens and mechanical parking/retrieval.

Very delighted as staff upgraded us to Suite. Rooms were very spacious with big living area and separate cloak room. Staff was friendly, especially staff in charge of tour, attractions inquiries and packages deliveries to hotel. Noticed there was a station just across hotel.

Great location right along the popular Otaru Canal, making it perfect for sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable for a family of four, with the added convenience of two toilets. The hotel also provides a full range of amenities, including facial creams and toner, which is a nice touch.

Location was good, right in front of canal. Centre to everything. Breakfast was good.

Location was great and the room was comfortable. We accidentally left our backpack with cash at the hotel when we check out. Thanks to the staff, they called us and hold it for us until we manage to pick it up another day. So grateful for it.

We stayed for 2 nights. The Hotel location was ideal. The dinners were excellent. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were excellent, esp. the elderly man in charge of the parking, he was very helpful in guiding our driver to park the car in the garage.
