Best stay ever! The people were really nice!!! It really felt like a community, and even if you don’t want to socialise, it’s only in the common area so you don’t have to worry about loud noises. The location is actually really good- it’s within walking distance of everything, just a little up the mountain from the canal but it’s really close to the mountain and all the shrines. The facilities were great- the kitchen even had seasoning! Also you could rent out basically anything you need + there were drinks and instant ramen that you could buy any time

Location was great.. about 15 min walk to town, but for that you get a super comfy place that feels Like home. Nice to have parking for the car so close and the staff were very helpful

I use tatami room by myself. Was lucky! And all different staffs are friendly and I met interesting hostel’s guests. And used beautiful coffee cups and Plates.

- The price was very competitive - Shampoo and body lotion were offered - The futon was alright - The position is central enough - Sleeping here is still better than having nowhere else to go in Otaru Giving this place a 4 so that the owners feel incentivised to fix what can be fixed

“Terrible on all aspects !”

Nothing, it was the worst place I ever booked, we were suppose to be there for 2 nights but left after one day because it was so terrible. Can’t believe it’s on booking actually.

The staff were friendly and nice. I had the pleasure to chat with some of them during my stay. The floor was kept really clean by the staff despite it being winter (lots of snow) when I stayed. I had a very comfortable stay at this hostel. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Otaru!

The room was clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom area. It was quiet at night allowing for a good night sleep. Overall it has a good price/quality ratio
