Staff were incredible! Perfect access to all my touristing desires (other than public transport, that was a bit of a walk). Heaters worked well but the house was really cold. Very clean and homely stay.

“Great stay in Otaru”
The owner was so lovely and accommodating! On the morning we arrived, my friend got badly injured and had to go to the hospital. We were able to coordinate with the owner to check in early so my friend would be able to rest after seeing a doctor. She was really kind and assisted us in every way she could to make our stay comfortable - we really appreciated it!

Unmanned location, but the message replies through booking.com are fairly quick. Location is close to the main shopping street. Staff let us store luggage in the lobby after checkout. Rooms had mood lighting. Rooms are perfect for 2 people, 3 people can fit, but it's tight.

“Simple but convenient”
Quiet house, close to the city centre and the train station (Minami-Otaru). There're also bus stops and nice restaurants/ cafés in the vicinity. I stayed for three nights and never saw the host, but communication was easy.

so convenient to check in, there were no other travellers shared the hostel through my one night stay, the whole environment are well kept and look very new! the facilities are very new too and comfortablet to be used
