“Tsugaike has some amazing ski runs for beginners. But we would not go back to Sunplaze”
The hotel is just over the road from the lifts. This is definitely the area to stay in Tsugaike. The onsen whilst not big, was traditional and had a small cold plunge pool and a sauna which was good. Get your ski tickets at the hotel. Cheaper than at the ticket office

Amazing location right near tsugaike ski lifts and gondola. Reasonable convenience store across the road. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Easy walk from bus stop. Sheets and towels were clean. They have a microwave for guest use and some amenities.

The location is across the road from the lifts. They have ski rentals and a few restaurants almost next door. The convenience store is next door as well. The ski storage/dry room is super convenient.

Close to the lifts, comfortable firm beds in the Western rooms, with good shower in ensuite. Staff are excellent and make your stay comfortable as possible.

Great location within metres of Tsugaike gondola and bus stops. Nice onsen/public baths and sauna at the hotel. The room was very clean. Private but very small bathroom.
