“Best hotel experience that I have booked so far! Can’t wait to return!”

I had the best week ever when staying at Mini Hotel Akord. My room on the first floor had a very comfortable bed and large windows with a view of the square with bubbling fountain. There was a room service each day. Best part of my stay was probably the Breakfast in their beautiful and bright dining room which consisted of a hot and cold buffet, large fruit bowl,selection of yogurts and cereals, drink station with apple juice, orange juice and jug of water with lemon slices (as I can’t have lemons,the very attentive staff brought me my own jug of water each morning),a basket full of different breads and bread rolls but best of all were all their delicious cakes! It felt like attending a wedding every morning! I was utterly spoilt by all the helpful, friendly and kind receptionists. When I reported my mini fridge wasn’t cool enough, they immediately sent a maintenance man to fix it which he did. The room was cleaned daily which was a nice bonus. I absolutely loved staying there while visiting my family whose home was being renovated and can’t wait to return next time.

The room features decent facilities with the A/C, refrigerator, good shower. There are several nice beer gardens right around the corner, they serve really nice food and beer.

Quite a strange experience. On the one hand - it's an ok hotel, really clean, comfortable beds, air conditioning, small but ok room. On the other hand - the atmosphere is quite strange, because the hotel is in a working theater or cultural center. When you arrive in the evening, you get to a huge empty lobby with marble columns, photos of actors on the walls, and the impression that there are no people at all. Online check-in works quite well, but the lady at the reception hardly speaks English, you won't be able to find out any details if you need them. Only basic information. The hotel has a strong smell of disinfectants. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the reviews about the very good breakfast. Completely the opposite experience - very bad breakfast.

Pleasant hotel with reasonably sizeable rooms. Breakfast buffet was quite varied and changed every day, which was pleasing. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is a bit out of town, it's within ten minutes' walking distance of a tram stop with direct service into the city centre and the two main train stations.

I was surprised at how pleasant my stay was. The room was small, but very clean. The personal was super friendly. There are a few grocery shops not far away, and a bys stop. Very nice experience, thank you l.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel! We booked it last minute when other accommodation was cancelled by its owner. Our room was spacious, quiet and spotlessly clean (the bathroom too). We arrived later than the regular check-in hours but this wasn't a problem, we were checked in by a polite and helpful receptionist. The breakfast was very good: there was a selection of bread, cold meats and cheeses, fruit and veggies, sweet and savoury pastries, milk and musli, scrambled eggs and sausages - whatever type of breakfast you like. The hotel is not in the centre of Ostrava but if you travel by car like we did, that's not a problem. Also, the parking is right in front of the hotel.
