We loved everything about this beautifully restored apartment. The location, the host, the well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and powerful shower. Loved the artwork and personal touches. Absolutely recommend staying here, we will certainly return. We had the top floor apartment and very much appreciated the lift - though the food in Ostend is so good we should have used the staircase more!

It, the break was really nice and relaxing. The appointment well equipped, in an excellent location. Trams, trains and shopping. Great for shops beach. Art works culture. The appointment was comfortable, clean spacious. Parking may be an issue, but if you look on app seety this is not a problem.

“Oasis in Ostend”

The host greeted us on arrival with an introduction to the apartment and local area plus a bottle of Cava. The apartment is extremely well equipped and comfortable. It is located in a central area just minutes walk to the shops and beachfront. Although being near a main road and tram route it is very quiet. Will certainly stay here again when next in Ostend.

“Beautiful and comfortable apartment to stay”

We stayed in Dikke Mathilde apartment and it was a great experience. The apartment is spacious and very nicely furnished. It is super clean and offers everything we need for a relaxing weekend stay. The kitchen is well equipped that we could cook simple meal and enjoy dinner by the candle lights in living room. The little court yard and the open space bathtub are huge bonuses. The location is very convenient to walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and coffeeshops nearby. It is also just short walk of 10 mins from the train station if you arrive by train.

Loved everything. Spacious, modern, spotless, compy beds, balcony, amazing shower. Host so helpful & gave us bottle of cava on arrival. Very secure property with lift. Beautiful smell in building & attention to detail brilliant. English t.v stations. Would highly recommend

“Perfect and relaxing”

The location. The beauty of the decoration and the view, the apartments are decorated with high quality design furniture, there’s a gas fire with coal and flames, very homely, the rooms are big, there’s a great view over the park no vis a vis. Everything in the apartment is the best quality possible. The hosts are kind and helpful, very reactive. We’ve stayed there many times and have always been very happy there, à home from home. Very close to the main shopping street and restaurants and of course the beach! I can genuinely say we’ve not found a better place either hotel or apparement to stay in Ostend.
