Located on the D1 road in the village Oštarski Stanovi only 12 km north of Plitvice Lakes National Park, Tourist Centar Marko enjoys a picturesque location in well-preserved nature. “Absolutely worth it”
The rooms quality is amazing, the staff very friendly and always ready to assist. The location is perfect - 20 minutes drive to Plitvice lakes. After the excursion we were happy to swim in the heated swimming pool, pure luxury. There is also a restaurant with good food, huge portions, and an adventure center on the other side of the road, kids were very happy.

“AMAZING TOURIST CENTRE WITH POOL, CLOSE TO LOTS OF BEAUTIFUL SIGHTS AND ACTIVITIES. FABULOUS SERVICE”
This place is just amazing!! First of all, there is a bar and restaurant at the front serving cooling drinks and really good menu which is used by many passers by as well as the guests. Lots of parking so its never a problem. Really lovely service from all involved and lots of choice. The Rooms are amazing! We had a HUGE twin room with efficient aircon, a beautiful bathroom and masses of space and comfort. The cleaners come in every day and make a great job. They are pleasant and helpful. All the decor is top quality, it is secure and stunning. We had a balcony and a view up the hill toward the pool. The pool is very pretty and has lovely panoramic views, a few steps to get there. Reception is up the slope but you can drive/ride/walk there. We got such a lovely welcome from Marko and his Assistant, Lindy. These guys are warm,. informative and friendly, so proud of their hotel! Lindy crossed paths with us numerous times, he made sure we were comfortable and happy, nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely top class guy and in fact we loved the place so much my Husband is away touring again on a motorbike and has booked to return in the next few days. Absolutely top marks to these hardworking guys for making our stay just perfect and a special mention to very special Lindy. Its very close to Plitvice lakes and to the beautiful Rastoke and Slunje where we enjoyed visits, about 10km drive. Just excellent. Way exceeded our expectations for the price!

Lovely and clean hotel. We had a quadruple room, plenty of space, very comfortable, had a small fridge too. . Beautiful location, nice clean free swimming pool. Towels provided free for the pool. Everything was great. There was a Restaurant just below the centre, food was good and you could get coffee to take away in the morning. Brilliant value for money.

We stayed in rooms 5, 6 and 7 (extra large balcony).They were spacious, modern and very clean. The swimming pool and its area are large and there are enough sun loungers for everyone

“A Fantastic Stay”
A really friendly welcome from staff who genuinely seemed to care that guests had the best possible experience. We were given a guided tour of the facilities and everything was explained. Our room for three was large and comfortable and very clean. The pool was excellent, and never had more than five or six others using it when we were. The location was great, easy to find, and very convenient for Plitvice Lakes National Park entrance 1, which is only about 10 - 15 minutes drive. We can't recommend Tourist Centre Marko highly enough.

Every staff member we encountered was extremely polite and friendly. The location is perfect for visiting Plitvice Lakes, and there’s a convenient restaurant nearby for meals. I’d definitely return if I get the chance!

“The Perfect Stay”
I was received like family by the lovely staff. The accomodation smelled wonderfull. They even notified me that it would be best to buy a ticket in advance for the lake. That was very thoughtfull! Location is perfect aswel because you have a nice view and while driving towards the lake you will pass some grocery shops that open at 6:30 in the morning.

“Will definitely don’t choose this hotel again”
Not help full at all. I had to book two separate rooms for us and for my kids because they said there is no more room for family as we where a big group. They even gave me rooms in different floors where there was an empty room next to the room of my kids. One word they don’t want to help as they know the i still want to book their rooms because of my friends who were booked there already.

“Kind staff, basic rooms, beautiful area”
Very kind staff and good service. Our rooms; Clean rooms, basic beds, standard showers and a nice small fridge at the room. The furniture was basic in wood. There is a nice green area behind the hotel with a patio, where we enjoyed our lunch. We did not use the pool, but it looked fine.
