Fantastic staff who go above and beyond to make the stay perfect! The location is amazing for visiting the whale sharks, going to the beach or just for a wander off the tourist track The hotel rooms have everything you need, are clean and well looked after We used the hotel spa (had a massage) the ladies came to our room and it was great value for money and a nice addition to the holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Pobla Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and made for a very relaxing stay, with fast and reliable WiFi which was a great bonus. A special thank you to Jhun at the front desk, who was absolutely fabulous and made our stay so much better. He helped us with everything, from booking our tours to arranging a driver for our trip to Cebu City. He also recommended amazing restaurants and kindly assisted us by taking our laundry to the local laundrette, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more convenient. Most importantly, Jhun’s warm, friendly, and helpful attitude made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. He is a true asset to Pobla Hotel, and we are very grateful for everything he did for us. Highly recommended!

“A modern and clean hotel, with helpful friendly owners”

The property is tucked away from the Main Street, with a 7 Eleven, atm, pharmacy and plenty of independent bakers, coffee shops and restaurants close by. The owners are extremely helpful arranging transport, tours, etc; there is a tut-tut taxi rank opposite. The Heritage site and community food market, are well worth a visit. The whale sanctuary, scuba dive centres and boats to Sumilon Island are 20 mins away by tut-tut, which is all part of the experience (!)

I had a wonderful experience staying at Pobla Hotel. The facilities were excellent, everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made our stay very enjoyable. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. They really went above and beyond to help us, especially when we faced an issue with transportation. One of our taxi drivers cancelled at the last minute, but the hotel team immediately stepped in, actively searching for alternatives and making multiple arrangements until they secured another taxi for us. They made sure we weren’t left stranded, which we deeply appreciated. Their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile made a huge difference to our trip. I would definitely recommend Pobla Hotel to anyone looking for not just great facilities, but also genuinely caring and proactive service.

Everything was perfect!! The rooms were beautiful and clean, the common areas were well-maintained and spotless, the pool was lovely, and the best part was getting to know the staff at this hotel. To say they were fantastic is an understatement.

You get what you see on the photos, it has a really industrial style and feels little bit like a garage. But there is no real alternative in Oslob, so its good for one night and some whaleshark action.

Beds are hard and thin sheet Host organised taxis for us for transportation which was good! 7/11 close by for a few goodies

Central location in oslob town. Modern hotel with friendly staff. 15 minute ride to the whale shark watching. 5 minute walk from the direct ferry from oslob to Bohol.
