“Great place to stay but long way to shark Swiming”

Views staff where amazing happy with stay but the whale shake Swiming is 10km away and daily bike taxis where 350 to 500php each way I might stay closer to the whale shark Swiming next time but hotel is great food good but long way from what I was there for 🥵🥲 whale shark resort makes you think it’s close to action but it’s good 10km away

Quiet and comfortable

The resort was very pleasant. During our stay, it seemed as if we booked the entire resort for ourselves due to the place being peaceful and delightful. The front desk was quick in assisting us to book our whale shark watching session, the breakfast was superb (thanks to the cook and to the staff that served us). The staff is courteous, helpful, and accommodating.

It is located on the beach, beautiful serene surrounds. The bedsheets are high quality, staff is attentive to your needs restaurant serves excellent food Bus from Oslob to Cebu passes in front , so you can stop and hop on.

Perfect for a short stay to see whale sharks. Very good value and the staff were very helpful, booking local trips. Great place to meet fellow travellers.

“Wonderful staff, very good rooms”

The room was much larger and much nicer than on the photos. It is right on the sea so you hear the waves which I love. The staff is wonderful. Even though we reached late afternoon they managed to arrange tickets for the next morning whale shark swimming. They staff was super friendly.

“Beautiful and friendly boutique style hotel, not much to do with the whale sharks”

We booked the Whale Shark hotel with the expectation that it was very close to the actual whale shark experience which is not close at all (approx. 20-30min drive away!!) the hotel staff are helpful to book the diving with sharks experience, but there is no shuttle and you have to organise your own transport etc. There is no other talk, vibe or experience of the diving nor whale sharks except for the name. The hotel is beautiful boutique style and the owner is exceptionally friendly so the whole stay is very pleasant and relaxing. Take your own reef shoes and goggles.

Everything! Really friendly helpful staff, excellent food, brilliant room. We’ve stayed a lot of places and this one was really lovely - they arranged a tour guide and tuctuc for the day - he was brilliant only wanted 600 (we gave way more then that - he was so informative took us to all the important spots and waiting patiently for us)
