The rooms are really clean and the beds were comfortable. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. Good location, near the Church, shops, and restaurants. Just around 14 mins drive to the whale shark watching.

“One of our favourite places to stay we wish we could stay longer”

Ocean View Lodging House was such a hidden gem for accommodation. Definitely recommend staying here although we only stayed one night. We wish we could’ve stayed for a whole week. We really enjoyed staying at the Oceanview Lodge. The staff were incredibly amazing went above and beyond and we’re super friendly sorted out our tools for us and all our transportation they were very welcoming and couldn’t recommend them more. Definitely if you choose to stay in Oslob I recommend staying at the Oceanview lodging house. You wouldn’t have a more comfortable stay and you’re surrounded by smiles by all the stuff that own the place it was in a great location. Everything was close by and you were right from the beach just from outside the hotel room you could walk down the steps and jump into the ocean.

Very helpful staff, but not much to do in Oslob after whale safari was done. The hotel is in the water, put on your snorkeling gear in the restaurant and go in to the water.

Nice sea view from the communal area. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean bathroom and bedsheets.

Very very happy about my stay. First of all the owner family is very friendly and helpful. They helped us to rent a scooter, arrange a ferry to Bohol and arrange all other activities. The place is a very calm place literally in the ocean. Amazing balcony that you can watch the ocean and experience the tide. There is an ATM right next to the hotel, restaurants are very close that you can reach by walk. There is a young lady who helps everything :) they even helped us about the laundry. Highly recommended

Ocean next to the balcony, clean room and warm staff, we arrived late and they were really helpful. my daughter made a girl friend there. Nice and cozy bed, air conditioner and WiFi facilities we're great. Close to the whale shark site and the center, near some tourist attractions. Also can see beautiful sunrise and sunset. If we could've stayed longer, my kids would love to play at the beach under.

“Disgusting not helpful”

The staff were rude and not helpful. No kettle to make cup of coffee, they charge 5 pesos for hot water for the coffee, absolutely disgusting. They knock the light off in the kitchen while my husband is having coffee. There's no water to wash in the morning. It's absolutely appalling 🤬

“Don’t set high expectations and you won’t be disappointed”

You get a passable room though not well designed. The TV cannot be viewed from the bed. The toilet design is poor, and the a/c has only one setting no matter what you do. You could store meat. There is only a flimsy bed sheet to help not dying of hyperthermia

Great location and stunning view. Great to sit out looking onto the sea. John the owner is lovely and still working hard at the age of 75!
