The staff was super friendly, good connection with bus(not neccesary because is near to the center), very nice breakfast, confortable bed and room.

The room was nice, breakfast tasty and location was close to park and tasty restaurants.

“Nice hotel”

Good breakfast. Safe in the room was easy to use as it could be operated standing. Safe was also big enough for my 14'' laptop. Location of the hotel was perfect for me as it was not far from the Parkteatret but naturally it was quite far from central station. Good chair and table. Reasonably fast WiFi.

“poor communication about service limitation”

During our stay at the hotel, we discovered that there was an ongoing strike. During check-in, the receptionist only mentioned that the hotel restaurant was closed, while all other services were supposedly operating as usual. In the elevator, there was a notice about the strike with the vague statement: “some of our hotel services may be adjusted accordingly.” Right next to it, there was another sign saying “we are happy to clean your room” along with a QR code linking to a page where room cleaning could be requested. In our room, there were also cards explaining how to request fresh towels and the same QR code for booking room cleaning. Nowhere was it stated that these services were actually unavailable (I have attached photos and screenshots showing the information provided by the hotel). After two days, following the instructions on the card and QR code displayed in both the room and the elevator, I requested room cleaning through the website - which, of course, never happened. When I went to the reception desk to ask about it, the receptionist seemed annoyed that I was even asking and only then informed me that due to the strike, the service was unavailable. Reluctantly, she handed us a set of clean towels. Had I not asked, I doubt the towels would have been replaced at all during our four-day stay, let alone the room cleaned. The hotel gym was also closed. I fully understand and respect the workers’ strike, but guests should be clearly informed before arrival and certainly at check-in about which services are unavailable. Unfortunately, this information was never properly communicated. When booking a hotel, guests expect not only a room, but also the services that normally come with it, such as housekeeping, towel and linen changes, access to the gym, or the hotel restaurant. Customers should be informed in advance about any significant limitations so they can make an informed decision.

Great breakfast for people with gluten- and milk intolerance! Vegan yoghurt, chia pudding and raw chocolate balls!

“Great neighbourhood; great night's sleep”

We slept well. The bed was comfortable and the soundproofing was good: our room was above a main road but we could barely hear it, and we could not hear other guests. The room was clean and well-equipped with enough storage for two people for a few nights. We were allowed a late check out, which we really appreciated. The staff were friendly and efficient. The location was in a great neighbourhood and it was easy to get to the city centre. We would stay again.

The employees were super nice and the breakfast very very delicious with a lot of variety. The hotel is right next to a supermarket and the mathallen and you can walk anywhere. The let us check in early as well, which was helpful.

This is a great hotel in a very good area. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are wonderful

Very supportive and helpful staff, delicious and diverse breakfast, cozy room with the great view on the green park. Hotel is located 3 min by foot from food court and 15 min by public transport from the center of the city what gives a great benefit to this place.

“Great Hotel - Will Definitely Stay There Again”

Lovely hotel and in a great location for us, as we were attending a concert at Vulkan Arena, but only a short walk into the centre anyway. Breakfast was lovely and a fantastic selection. Will definitely stay here again when in Oslo.

Booked through booking.com My booking said I had a bath and shower. But when I arrived I only had a shower. At reception they told me that booking through a third party couldn’t guarantee a bath. This needs to be made clear for future clients
