“Lovely location and comfortable stay”
The hotel is in the perfect location and is very central. It only took us minutes to get where we needed to be, or at least to the nearest metro stop so we could go to other places. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms are a great size. The bathroom and showers are also great.

The location is exceptional, bigger rooms than in most hotels. Bathroom had heated floor, nice shower pressure, clean white towels and comfortable sheets.

“A must if you're staying in Oslo.”
I arrived to be told that most hotels in Oslo are on strike and the hotels operate on a skeleton staff. Had I booked direct with the hotel my booking would have been cancelled. I was staying overnight en route home the following day. At first I was told they would try to find me a room in another Scandic. Thankfully, a room was found where I had booked. The receptionist thanked me for not getting angry. I told her that it wasn't her fault so being angry would have achieved nothing. Breakfast was limited but still streets ahead of breakfast at a British hotel. The situation of the hotel is brilliant - a 20 mins walk to Oslo S for the express to the airport - and with a suitcase. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. And, of course, you're a short walk from museums and the wee ferries to the islands where Fram, Kon Tiki and the Osnaberg viking ships are. Buy an 'I love Oslo' card from the Oslo Tourist Shop in Oslo S and the entrances and ferries are included.
