Overview
This boutique hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Oslo Central Station and the main street, Karl Johans gate. It offers a free evening buffet and free Wi-Fi internet access. The brightly coloured rooms at Clarion Collection Hotel Bastion feature wooden floors, satellite TV and modern bathrooms. In addition to the fika & evening buffet, Clarion Collection Bastion provides complimentary organic tea and coffee throughout the day. Perhaps the money saved on dining out can be put to better use in the surrounding Aker Brygge harbour area. There are plenty of trendy stores, bars and nightclubs for all tastes. The Bastion's own relaxation options include a sauna. More active guests can use the gym or rent a bicycle.

“Great location for travellers”
The location was good for us as we caught the train in from the airport and the train out to Myrdal and Flåm. A very easy walk. Also close to the Opera House. Really appreciated the breakfast and dinner included in the price. Shower had folding glass doors which stopped water flooding the floor - unusual in N Europe in our experience.

A great hotel very near to the harbour and opera house. The rooms were very comfortable, food very good and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would love to return. Also had great bike storage. Thank you to all the staff

“I would definitely stay again when visiting Oslo”

Incredible value for money at a quality hotel. Everything was perfect. The included breakfast and evening meal had a variety of food choices. It was close to all central attractions and the train station was easily walkable with cases if you went close to the Opera building. Bus and tram stops were 2 minutes away. Exceptional.

Breakfast was decent with well stocked options, evening meal also had great freshly-prepared salads but no main meal for vegetarians which was a shame. Beds were comfy

Great location, the staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and quiet with great shower and bed. He chose half board as we only stayed 2 nights and both were great.

“Perfect place for a stay in Oslo”
Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner are plentiful. The room was large and comfortable. There is a gym and sauna on site and with the location so close to everything it is the perfect place to stay.
