“Very good hotel to stay in central Oslo”

Due to a slight mix-up, I had to stay at two rooms across my week's stay at Revier. While everything is done through an app, communication around this issue was excellent and it was swiftly resolved as promised. The room I stayed in on the first night because of this was not the class of room I had paid for, but it was perfectly clean and comfortable, and the ensuite shower was a good size. I was able to move into my proper room from the second night onwards, and this was an excellent size with plenty of facilities, including a fridge, an oven, a hob and so on. More than enough utensils, plates etc supplied as well. The blackout curtains kept light out perfectly, the bed was very comfortable and the soundproofing was excellent, so I slept well every night. The hotel is also very well-located in central Oslo, with the Akershus Fortress just a minute or two walk away. Luggage storage is also provided, as well as a separate room to dispose of all rubbish and to resupply on essentials if needed.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and combines modern design with real charm and a cozy atmosphere. The location is ideal just a 10 minute walk from the central station while still being on a quiet pretty street. I also really appreciated the modern check in process and the app based room key which made everything smooth and convenient.

The hotel tells you through its communication that having no front desk is the future of hospitality. This is a profound error and makes the whole stay very frustrating. If I want to be all by myself I take a RBnB, but in a hotel, I want somebody to talk to and to help me out. Fortunately, there was some random staff hanging around here and there, and they were very kind and helpful. But in general, one is just erring through empty corridors. When we were leaving at 8 am through some side door (the main space was locked, no surprise), there wasn't even a place to drop the key card ... an expensive but sad place.

Loved the comfort of the apartment, the free washing and drying facilities, the on site rooftop bar and the young man who assisted us as we checked in. Great place close to the city and train and bus terminal. We really enjoyed our evening here. ☺️

The location was excellent.Love the decor and laundry facilities. The free coffee in reception and the luggage room was a wonderful bonus.

Really spacious room. Not much natural light but didn’t matter. Bed VERY comfy.

Rooms are warm and windows don’t open - impossible to cool the room, which makes it difficult to sleep.
