The Clarion Collection Hotel Post is a charming hotel, located in the old post office in central Oskarshamn. You'll stay close to Oskarshamn Station and the Gotland Ferry Terminal. Breakfast, fika and our evening meal are always included in the price of your room. In the center of Oskarshamn The Clarion Collection Hotel Post enjoys a central location by Stora Torget in Oskarshamn, just a few minutes' walk from the travel center and ferry terminal. The older part of the city is just around the corner, with cobblestoned streets, art studios and shops. Fika and evening meal included In addition to the buffet breakfast served every morning, all our guests can also enjoy our fika and evening meal every day. Relaxation area with sauna Our relaxation area has a wonderfully serene atmosphere. This is the place to come if you're in need of some peace and quiet. From post office to popular hotel The Clarion Collection Hotel Post is located in two buildings, each with its own story to tell of Oskarshamn's past. The beautiful main building dates back to 1905 and used to be the city's post office before it became a hotel in 1985. It underwent extensive renovation in 2012. The interior of the main building dates back to the early 1900s. It has high ceilings and several of the rooms have stunning ceramic fireplaces. The hotel truly offers a reminder of the city's past as a shipbuilding community. The former city hotel is located nearby, and it was renovated in 2003.

A friendly welcome, a beautiful building, a comfortable sleep, an easy to use and well equipped gym, lovely sauna facility, a delicious dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish I had reason to stay longer. The rooms were comfortableness and quiet and I enjoyed the literary decor - a small selection of books in every room is a great convenience for travellers, almost as much as the tasty dinner (even with vegetarian options) and breakfast.

“Very comfortable, like a second home”
Very nice staff who recommended Havslätt beach, which is a nice place to swim. There was even coffee in the afternoon, and the cook prepared vegan chicken-like fillet, which I had with rice (I guess these plant-based fillets stay fine for months or years, so the next vegan will be happy if there is one portion of these just in case); also nice vegan breakfast with many options including vegan yoghurt and milk. Central and close to some lovely parks. The hotel really felt like a second home. The shower soap and conditioner were so nice that I bought them for my friend who is my cat-sitter. Comfortable and bright room. I was especially happy about the tea kettle and tea/coffee in the room.
