Overview
A 10-minute drive from Lake Yamanaka and a 20-minute drive from Fujikyu Highland amusement park, the completely non-smoking Ryokan Fujitomita offers traditional rooms with free Wi-Fi throughout. The green grounds have trampolines and a seasonal pool, and some rooms have Mt. Fuji views. Guests at Fujitomita Ryokan sleep on a traditional tatami (woven-straw) floor in Japanese-style futon bedding. Toilets are shared, and there are spacious shared baths that can be used for private use. Each room is air-conditioned and has a TV, an electric kettle and a fridge with a minibar. The inn is a 15-minute drive from both Fujikyuko Line's Fujisan Train Station and Asama Shrine, and a 40-minute drive from Fujiten Snow Park. Parking is free. Free pick-up is offered from Fujisan Train Station, guests need only call upon arrival at the station. Table tennis can be enjoyed on site, and there is a children’s playground. Dry cleaning can be arranged and luggage can be stored. This property has a curfew at 22:00, after which guests cannot enter or leave. A set-menu breakfast and dinner are available, but must be reserved at least 1 day in advance. A choice between Japanese and Western meals is offered. The on-site barbecue facilities can be used for an extra fee if reserved 2 days in advance.

“Incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful views of Mt Fuji”
Breakfast was delicious. We opted for Japanese style breakfast which was definitely made with love. Hosts were incredibly kind and gave us free rides to/from Fujisan station. Room itself was so gorgeous. Private baths downstairs, quiet neighborhood, stunning views, 10/10 would stay again!!

“Enjoy mt. Fuji from your bed :D”
Cozy ryokan with private indoor onsen rooms. Our room had a view at the gorgeous mt. Fuji! The breakfast was good and the overall atmosphere was chill. Room with kitchen, big balcony and spacious itself. The room had a sleeping compartment with something like queen-size futon, so you don't sleep on the floor, but still has a little vibe of that.

“I would definitely stay there again”
I loved this accommodation! We had a lovely large room with a view of mount Fuj, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the place was so clean. The facilities were great, we really enjoyed the hot pools and we paid for the additional breakfast and it was so worth it. After our visit they also provided a free shuttle back to mount Fuji station which was excellent because it was raining 😂

We can see Fujisan from our room balcony. Beds are very comfy - the kids had a very good long sleep. The Japanese breakfast was excellent, also had fun experiencing the private onsen as a family. The hosts are also very kind and friendly.

It was such a nice place to stay. Traditional Japanese which was a great experience. I had a view of mt fuji from my room which was just so special. It was family run and owned and they were so lovely and accommodating. The Traditional Ryokan meals was excellent. Overall an amazing experience and I'd definitely go back.

I had an excellent stay. The room was large, with Mt. Fuji view, and the price was very good for the value. The staff is also very kind. There are also natural hot springs on the ground floor ☺️ I recommend booking the dinner and breakfast options, as the food was excellent, and the price very reasonable.

“Perfect base to explore the 5 lakes & Mt Fuji”
Loved our room with magnificent view of Mt Fuji. And the dinners were the best food we had in Japan, exquisite flavours. Our host Hiromi was so helpful and friendly. Our room was large and while it has a shared bathroom & toilet they were all clean and the onsen downstairs though dated was beautiful and very relaxing.

“The best stay we had in Japan!”
We had an absolute incredible stay here. The hosts were amazing, they picked us up from the station and even dropped us back off when we were leaving. The food was incredible and we had everything we needed. Our room had incredible view of Mount Fuji and the beds were comfy. We used the private onsen twice in our stay and it was amazing. We also highly recommend the breakfast. This was the perfect stay for us, thank you so much.
